-Mila's eyes sparkled as she took in her surroundings, it was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a day at the zoo. Mila was always one step ahead of Lando, the little kid in her excited for everything she wanted to see. Lando pulled on Mila's hand, "Mils, calm down, the animals are not going anywhere," Lando said with a chuckle. Mila could feel the embarrassment creep up on her face, "Sorry," She mumbled. Lando intertwined their fingers, swinging their arms back and forth as they walked toward the elephants.
After their quick lunch at one of the restaurants in the zoo, they made their way to some monkeys. Mila sat on a bench in front of the animal enclosure, sunglasses rested on the bridge of her nose as she looked dreamily ahead of her where Lando was resting against the fence. She took a deep breath and let her head fall back in her neck, her eyes closed as she took in the rays of sunshine that warmed up her face. The weather was warm enough for Mila to walk around in a summer dress, but not hot enough for her to be sweating her ass off. Mila let out a small groan when she feels the swelling of her feet and the aching in her back from all the walking. She has to admit that she underestimated all pregnancy ailments but she has come back on that, she sometimes feels like a baby herself for whining about everything and anything. She is also scared that she is working on Lando's nerves but Lando reassured her that this is not the case and that he is happy to listen to all her whining about the baby.
Mila opens her eyes when she hears laughter coming from nearby. She looks over the top of her sunglasses and grins when she sees Lando acting like a goofball. A small girl is standing next to him, she is clapping in her hands and squealing with laughter at the same time as she watches how Lando (tries) to imitate the monkeys. Mila's heart makes a small jump as she realizes that in a matter of months Lando will be this goofy with their own child. She can't wait for all the cute moments like these that they will have with their own little family. The (what she expects to be) little girl's parents come and swoop her away, they apologized but Lando wouldn't be Lando if wouldn't been so nice to them, he even took a picture with the dad.

"You know, I was thinking," Mila turned her head so she was looking at Lando who was just about done with his workout. They were at home, Mila enjoying a book while Lando was doing god knows what kind of exercises. Mila looked at Lando, he looked nervous. Mila could see how his eyebrows furrowed and how he bit on the inside of his lip, she could sense his nervousness by the way his hands were trembling. Mila took his hand in hers and gave it a tight squeeze to reassure him he could tell her anything. "I was thinking, with my f1 career really taking off and all.. I would really like for us to finally move to Monaco." Mila was shocked, not really expecting Lando to want to move to Monaco.
Mila opened her mouth but she didn't know what to say. "It's okay if you have to think about it. I just think it would be a nice change of scenery for the both of us, the three of us," Lando corrected himself as he moved his hand over Mila's growing belly. Mila grabbed her phone, even though she was trying to speak more to Lando, she had great difficulty in forming long sentences and speeches. "Lando, I didn't know you were so serious about Monaco. We can't just pack everything up and leave the country!" Mila typed on her phone. Lando sighed, "I know it's a big step but it's not like anything is tying us down to England." Mila scoffed, " Nothing is tying us down to this place? Lando, How about work. The factory is here, MY work is here. We can't just move to another country and then what, we just show up a couple of days a year, I don't see that working for us." Mila was typing really fast, it could be that her sentences weren't making sense because the words she wanted to say were flying around in her head.
Lando stood up and walked towards the garden, he stood in the doorway and looked out over the big property. Mila stood behind Lando, her hands slotted around his waist as she hugged him from behind. Mila's hands were holding her phone in front of Lando and he looked at her phone while she was typing. "Babe, it's not that I don't want to move. it's just a bit sudden, that's all. Have you talked about this with your mum? Because I don't think she will like this one bit. She is going to be a grandmother and I think she would want to see the little duckling." Lando pried away Mila's hands and walked around the garden like a little child, a pout adorning his face. "I know that, and I want to keep seeing my family too. But I have this feeling like I have to do this. We are having a baby and I feel like a child myself. I feel like this step will make me grow up." Mila approached Lando and wrapped her arms around his neck. She bumped her nose against Lando's like an Eskimo kiss. "I love you," Mila whispered in Lando's ear. Lando smiled and caressed the side of her stomach, "I love you too, both of you," he whispered against her lips. Mila grabbed Lando's hand and made him sit down on one of the deck chairs. Mila grabbed her phone again, " So, I know you a little bit by now. Are you going to show me our future house?" Lando blushed, knowing it was true and that he had already searched for houses. Lando grabbed his phone and searched for the real estate website, he scrolled through the pictures and stopped at the apartment he loved. "This is the apartment I have my eye on," Mila grabbed his phone out of his hands to take a closer look.
Lando could hear the small hitch in her throat as she scrolled through the pictures of the beautiful apartment. "There are three bedrooms, one for us, one for the baby, and one for something like an office. Two bathrooms, a big kitchen with a bar. The living room is surrounded by windows and the balcony looks out over the harbor," Lando explained as Mila tried to contain her excitement. "And Max and Kelly live upstairs so that is a nice bonus," Mila Laughed. Mila closed the browser and opened notes on Lando's phone. "I'll make you a deal. I'm going on maternity leave in a couple of months, let's go to Monaco and check out the place. Think about it, make sure we want it. And if by the time I'm going on maternity leave we still want to move and everything is organized job-wise, we will move." Lando's smile could only mean that he was happy, he grabbed Mila's face and kissed her after which he peppered her face with small kisses. "I can't wait for this new chapter," Lando whispered against the temple of Mila's face.
