Mila hadn't talked since she said Lando's name but he was sure that she would talk when she was ready. Lando's heart fluttered every time he thought about it, her voice was husky but sweet at the same time.  He didn't want to rush her into talking but he was eager to hear her voice again, he didn't mind her not talking but somewhere deep down he was selfish and it would be much more convenient if she could talk. It was also something special, something that only they shared, only if it was just one word.

It was race week again, Lando was excited, to say the least. He had enjoyed racing here in Portimao last year, and as it was just the second time that formula 1 raced here, it was a fairly new track. Mila and Lando were having lunch in his drivers' room, just before Lando needed to get in the car for qualifying. "Babe, I have been thinking.." Lando said with a mouth full of his chicken wrap. He swallows the bite as Mila looked up from her laptop with raised eyebrows. "I'm fine with how things are right now, but I kind of want to show you off to the world. I would like to kiss you when I want in the paddock when I get another podium and not be so secretive about it." Mila bit the inside of her lip, she would be lying if she said that going public wasn't on her mind, but she was hesitant. She liked where they were, having their relationship all to themselves, but she could see where Lando was coming from. "Yeah, I would like that too, maybe everyone will stop asking questions about your mystery girl then." Lando's eyes sparkled, "Yeah? you want to come out to the world?" Mila nodded her head and kissed Lando. "I trust you, Lan, with all my heart." Lando kissed Mila, "Alright, I will post that picture of us from last week alright? The one on the beach, I like that picture." Mila smiled and nodded her head while she watched Lando type on his phone. "It's all done, no turning back now."

Mila was getting a cup of coffee in the hospitality area, she was the next in line when she saw Eve behind the counter. Eve waved at Mila and Mila gave her a tight-lipped smile in return. "Hey, Mila! So nice to see you!" Mila showed Eve her order and waited while Eve was making her coffee. It was in the middle of Q1 so it was pretty empty in he hospitality as everyone was watching the qualifying, but for Mila, this was her break. "I didn't know you travelled with us?" Mila showed her phone to Eve. Eve nodded while setting the coffee on the counter, "Yeah, it is my trial weekend, but if they like me I might travel to more races." Mila nodded and grabbed the coffee, she waved to Eve and walked off.

"Wait! Mila, can we talk?" Mila turned around to see Eve putting down her apron and walking after her. She stopped and tuned around comepletely so she was face to face with Eve. "Can you make it quick, I have to be back in the garage before lando get out of Q1." Mila put her arms over eachother in front of her chest, waiting for Eve to speak up. "So, you and Lando finally got together huh?" Mila looked up at Eve. "Not that it is any of your concern, but we have been dating for a while, we just put it out in the world today, that's all." Mila didn't trust Eve, she knew that she was trouble, from the beginning. "I just want to let you knowhat you sholdnt get too atached to Lando, he might leave you before you know it." Mila's heart clenhed, sh knew that Eve was talking crap but it still hurt to hear er say it. "Why would you sy that, Eve?" Eve shurgged her shoulders while a smug grin was present on her face. "I just have a feeling." Mila rolled her eyes, Eve let out a exgrateed sigh, "Alright, since you are pushing. I idn't want to say anything but I think that you should hear the truth from me, rather than from someone else." Mila bit he lip, she knew what was coming, yet it was hard to pretend that she didn't already know. "I slept with Lando," Mila's eyes widened, she knew Eve would tell her that lando had cheated on her but she didn't htink she would tell her they slept together. "I know, I'm sorry. I didn't know that you two were exclusive at the time. It was a ouple of weeks ago. Lando and I were texting when we were both at MTC and we met on our break and then it happnd, in the sim room." Mila closed her eyes, trying to calm down her breathing, she didn't want tears to come out of her eyes.

Mila felt anger boil inside of her stomach, she couldnt believe he ears, all of a sudden she felt two arms wrap around her from behind while a pair of lips pressed against the side of her face. "Hey babe,"Lando whispered in her ear. "Hi, Eve, what are you talking about? It looked serious?" Eve's face turned red while Mila unwrapped Lando's arm from her. She turned to Lando and showed her her phone, "Eve told me something intersting." Lando raised his eyebrows, "Really, tell me, you are making me curious." Lando looked at Eve, waitin for her to speak up. "Well I.." Before Eve could spek up,Mila showed her phone to lando once again. "Eve told m that the two of you slt together a few weeks ago." Lando felt his blood boil, Lando sighed, "Eve, like I told you before, you and I are never getting together. I love Mila and nothing is going to change that." Eve's face showed shock, "I told Mila that you made a move on me a few weeks ago, but I didn't think you would sink this low. We didn't sleep together. You pulled me into a closet and tried to kiss me but I pushed you away before anything could happen, I know that, you know that, and Mila knows that too. I don't know what you are trying to do here, getting me and Mila to break up and get me to want you? I want you even less now that you tried to drive me and Mila apart. If you would excuse us, we have places to go to." Lando grabbed Mila's hand and dragged her out of the canteen of the hospitallity, leaving Eve behind with a shocked look on her face. Mila giggled but walked with Lando towards is drivers room. Lando closed the door and pushed Mila against it, her back hitting the door with a bang. "I'm glad you told me what happened beforehand, otherwise this wouldn't have ended well." Lando kissed Mila' neck, "I know that Eve is trouble and I dont want to have any secrets from you so I did what I thought was right, and I was right.

Mila wrapped her arms around lando's neck, rbbing her nose on his, "I love you Mils, and no one, especially Eve, is getting in the way of that.Mila smiled and tenderly kissed Lando's full lips, biting lightly on his bottom lip. lando moaned, which gave Mila acces to slip her tongue in his mouth. lando's hands went from her waist towards her thight, he sqeezed her leg which caused Mila to jump and wrap her legs around Lando's waist. lando's lips moved from Mila' neck down to the swell of her breast, Mila moaned but all of this was stopped by a knock on the door. Mila andLando pulled away from each other, lando covering Mila's mouth with his hand. "Lando? Are you in there? Zak wants to talk to you and Mila." Lando closed his eyes and rested his forehead against Mila's, "Yeah, we will be right there, thnks Jon."

Lando set Mila down on the ground,both of them trying to cathc their breath. They tried to make themselves look presentable and not look like they just hooked up. "Are you ready? I think we have some eplaining to do." Mila grabbed Lando's hand and signed 'I love you' before dragging him out off the room.
