Chapter 19

*Two days later*

Lani's P.O.V

Im now back at home from the hospital and Im glad .. It feels so good to be a mom , I love to just hold her and stare into her beautiful blue eyes .

"Mommy loves you Zel" I said smiling as I held her in my arms . She grabbed onto my finger with her little hand and began to my noises . I laughed her actions and seen KD coming down the stairs .

"Hey baby" he said sitting next to me . I didn't respond to him .. I looked at him then back to Zel . "Can I hold her right quick cause Im finna head out" he said . I didn't respond to him , I just continued to play with my babygirl .

"Lani don't fucking at like yo ass don't hear!" He said getting loud . I didn't care at all . I stood up with Zel in my arms and made my way upstairs . I laid her in her crib and walked back downstairs to see KD still sitting there .

"Don't you got somewhere to be lying ass nigga?" I asked ."Lani Im fed up with yo shit" he replied . "My shit ? Nigga no Im fed up with your shit .. you know what Im not about to argue with your ass , Im not even suppose to be talking to you until you tell me why tf you wasn't answering yo phone .. You almost missed the birth of our daughter" I said . He stood up from the couch and made his way towards me .

"Lani I already told you I was at the trap and I didn't hear it ringing damn" he said . "Stfu with yo lying ass . I know that's not the truth because I know when you're lying .. If you was out with some hoe just say that so I can go on with my life cause Im sick of you messing around on me KD" I said to him .

"I wasn't with nobody Lani , so stop saying that stupid shit . You know I love you" He said .

"Save that shit cause you've cheated once before , won't be suprised if you did again cause that's what you do . You a lying ass , cheating ass , stupid ass , weak-minded ass nigga ! You don't understand that you already have a girl at home that's down for you and love you , instead you go out and fuck thots .. You won't understand what you have until Im gone" I said getting mad . I walked off and upstairs to our room . I got into bed and soon heard the front door slam . The tears slowly began to fall as I began to think of what Im about to do .

I got out of bed and began packing all of my things . Once I finished with mines , I put it in my car . I went back inside and packed up all of Zel's things then took it to the car .

I went back inside and upstairs to grab Zel . I placed her into her car seat , strapped her in and walked outside putting her into the car . I made sure that she was in good and the got into the driver seat . I grabbed my phone and text Killa , Liyah , Mama , and Ky the same message .. "You won't be hearing from me or Zel for while .. Im sorry but I can't stay here any longer . KD has messed up for good . I don't know where im headed and you won't know either but know that I love you and I will see you again" . I put my phone down and looked back at Zel then smiled . I back out of the drive way and onto the rode , not knowing where Im going but away from Atlanta for sure .

KD's P.O.V

I got a call from everyone saying that Lani texted them saying her and Zel are leavimg me . I raced home as fast as I could .

When I got home I saw Lani's car gone . I got out the car and ran into the house . I ran upstairs to see all of Zel's things gone , Lani's things gone , and both of them nowhere to be found .

I grabbed my phone and dialed Lani's number . It said that it was disconnected . I felt my eyes water and the tears began to fall . I fucked up bad , I lost my girl and my daughter .

I called my mama and waited il she answred . "Hello" she said into the phone . "Mama they gone .. how can she just leave and take my daughter away from me she can't do that" I cried into the phone . "KD baby .. Why did you hurt that girl . You knew how much she's been through and yet you still did what you did . I tell you the truth your just like your father when he was younger" she said . "Mama what Im suppose to do" I cried into the phone .

"Give her time baby . Lani loved you , she will be back . I promise she will . Whats meant to be always finds its way around" She said to me .

"But mama I can't evem see my daughter .. That shit is kidnap" I said getting angry . "Well it kinda is but you will not do that to Lani ok . Im going to miss my grandbaby too but this is just something we have to wait out .. Lani will come back , there's no telling when .. But she will" My mama said .

What if she doesn't come back ... Thats the only thing that raced through my mind .. I love Lani and Zel so much , their a part of me . Without them Im not myself .. I need my girls back ..
