*2 years Later*

Lani's P.O.V

I moved back to California , and Im glad I did because I needed a new start .. I used to live In Cali when I was younger but when my dad , mom , and I moved to Atlanta we didn't keep In touch with our family .. I talked to my aunt and cousins a couple of times but thats about It because my dad stopped me from talking to them .

But when I got back I got in touch with them so Im back talking with my family and I couldn't be happier .

Zel is now 2 years old and talking up a storm . She talks so well to just be 2 years old . But every time I look in her eyes I think back to KD .

Leaving KD was the hardest thing I ever had to do . I didn't just leave him I left a good family ..

There Isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about him . I love him so much but I couldn't just sit around and wait on him to realize what he had ... He hurt me so bad , I would've been stupid to just stay there with him just for him to hurt me again .

I did what I had to do to protect me and my child . I know taking Zel and not letting him know where we were going was wrong but I had to .

I do not plan on going back to atlanta anytime soon . But when and if I do I hope they all can forgive me .

KD's P.O.V

Its been 2 years and she's still not back .. I didn't expect for her to really leave me like that . I look at the door everyday hoping that she will walk back through with Zel .

Its been so long that I gave up hope .. Weeks turned into months and months turned into years . I miss her and Zel so much ..

I haven't fucked or been sucked since she left .. I want her touch back .. I want to be able to hold her in my arms , I want to know that she's safe .. I want to hold and play with my daughter , show her that she has father that loves her .. But I can't do that and its all my fault .

Lani's P.O.V

"Mommy I want icecream" Zel said to me ."Me too , lets go to the icecream shop babygirl .. sounds fun?" I replied to her .

"YAYYYY" she screamed . I laughed at , "come here so I can put your shoes on" . She ran over to me and jumped In my lap . I put her shoes on then mines .

I grabbed my purse and keys and grabber Zel's hand . "Ready" I asked smiling down at her . "Yes" she replied excited . "Come on" I said . I strapped her into her seat then got in the passenger side . I put the key in the ignition and drove out the parking lot .

We pulled up to the Icecream shop and got out . "What kind you want Zel" I asked her . "I want strawberry mommy" she said . "How may I help you" The cashier asked . "Can I get a small bowl of strawberry ice cream and medium bowl of vanilla please" I said . "Yes ma'am .. That'll be $10.60" . I grabbed a 20 dollar bill and handed to her . She gave me my change and we waited on the icecream .

Once it was fixed we grabbed our bowls and sat a near by table outside . "Is it good babygirl" I asked her and she ate her icecream . She nodded her head because her mouth was full . I laughed at her and began to eat mines .. My mind drifted off to KD , I miss him so much .. Two years is a long time ..

I miss his touch , smell , kisses , sex , shit I miss everything about him . But Im not going back , I will not do that to myself . I just wish he had done right from the beginning and we wouldn't be in this situation ..

"Well hey there Lani" I heard a voice say . I looked to my left to see this fine ass nigga , not KD fine but still good lawd . He looked familiar , but I still don't remember him .

"Um do I know you ?" I asked . "You gone sit here and act like you don't know me" he said smiling , which only made him sexier .

"I don't-" .. "Oh come on Lani , I know you remember me .. Its me Jason , Jason Riles" he cut me off . And right then and there I knew who he was . "Omg Jas" I said hopping up and hugging me . I haven't seen him in years ... He used to be my bestfriend , and I had the biggest crush on him ..

"You look so different" I said removing myself from him . "So do you but I could never forget that beautiful face" he said smiling . I smiled and began to blush . "Thank you" I replied .

"And who is this little pretty girl" he said sitting down . I sat down too , before I could answer she answered for herself . "Im Zel" she said smiling . "Hey Zel , Im Jason" He said to her .

"So this is your daughter?" He asked turning to face me . "Yea thats my babygirl" I replied .. "She looks like you , but I gotta get going ma .. Give me your number" he said . I gave him my number then he leaned down and kissed my cheek . "See you later ma" he said . "Bye Jas" I said smiling .

Is it crazy that all the feelings I had towards him came rushing back ? ...
