Lani's POV (Two days later)

"What should I do Aunt Jaz" I asked her . I came by to talk with her because I really want to move back home but I like it here also and I've started a new life here . My biggest fear is leaving my new life behind to be back with KD and then he hurts me again . I'm not able to take anymore pain .

"Well baby .. follow your heart , Like you said you want a family . You can't have a family if you're here In Cali and he's in Atl . By the way you talk about him I know you love him and he loves you even though he's put you through a lot .. He's still learning"

I just nod my head . I need to talk to KD about this and quick .

KD's POV

Everything went good with the deal the other day .. That's all we really came here for so we'll be leaving probably tomorrow or something .

I haven't told Lani that I want her to move back with me yet but I plan on doing that today . I'm not leaving Cali without her and my daughter . I want us all to be together again and have a real family .

As I'm laying down In my hotel room my phone rings . I look down to see its Lani . I smile seeing her name , I answered it and put it up to my hear .

"Hey ma" I said into the phone . "Hey KD . I need to talk to you" She said . "Alright .. What is it ?" I asked . "Can you come over I wanna talk in person" she said . "OK I'm on my way" I said as I hung up the phone and got off the bed . I put on my shoes and walked out ..

Pulling up to Lani's apartments I get out and knock on the door . She opens the door and smile at me . "hey come in" she said . I walk in and look around to see if my babygirl is here but I didn't see her . "where babygirl?" I asked . "Oh she's sleep upstairs" . I nod my head and sit down .

She comes next to me on the couch and sit down . "So I wanted to talk to you cause I want to move back to atl with you" she said looking at me . I smile and slightly chuckled . "You thought I was going back to Atl without my girls?" I asked. She smiled at me "when are you planning on leaving" she asked .

"Tomorrow" I said . "TOMORROW!" She asked jumping up . "That's too early I mean I have to pack and say goodbye to my family" She said . "Well how about this .. You pack some of yours and Zel's clothes now . And then we can go see your fam" I said. "What about all my other things?" She asked . "I'll have it shipped back for you baby" I said . She nodded her head , "Ok come help me pack" she said . We both headed upstairs ..

"OK I'll pack mines and you pack Zel's" she said . "OK I got you" I said as I made my way to Zel's room .

I walk in to see her sleeping . I smile , Man I love my daughter so much and I'm glad she's coming home with me .

*Hours Later*

Lani's POV

We finally finished up packing and bring everything downstairs . "Can you drive me to my auntie house please" I asked KD . "Yea ,Let's go" He said grabbing his keys . "Come on Zel" I said . She got off the floor grabbing her doll and ran towards me . I grabbed her hand and we walked out .

"Let daddy put you in the car Zel while I lock the door" I said . She walked off to the car holding KD's hand .

I grabbed the keys out my purse and locked the door . I went to the car , got in and KD pulled off as I told him the way to go .

Pulling up to my auntie Jazz's house I see a car I didn't want to , Jas's .. I guess KD noticed how my mood changed , "what's wrong baby" . "This dude I used to talk to is here .. he works with my cousin" I said . "I'm here with you he not gone say shit to you OK cause you mines" he said leaning over kissing my lips . I smiled "let's go" . We got out the car and walked up to the door , I knocked on the door and Breanna answered it . "hey girl" she said smiling . We walked inside and Zel ran off , "hey .. This is my boyfriend and Zel's dad KD" I said to her . "Nice to meet you" she said . "Same to you" he said .

I heard talking in the kitchen so I made my way there with KD behind me . "hey y'all look who's here" Breanna said as We walked in the kitchen .

When we walked in Jas and Andre looked at KD as if they saw him before . "Hey everybody .. This is my boyfriend and Zel's dad KD" I said . "Nice to m-" Aunt Jazz began to say before Jas cut her off . "Yo boyfriend ? Can we talk in private" he asked . I can tell he was getting mad but I didn't care I only came here to say goodbye to my family . "No we can not . I came here to say goodbye to my family" . Aunt Jass smiled knowing what I meant . "I'm going to miss you girl .. Gotta come visit a lot" she said. "Of course I will" I said .

"Hold up what y'all talking boud" Andre asked confused . I looked at him , "Zel and I are moving back to Atl with KD" I said . "Wtf nahh you can't just leave" Jas said . "Jas this has nothing to do with you Alright?"

"You a lie if it don't it got everything to do with me . What happened to what we had ?" he said . "Aye what y'all had is done Lani's mines nigga and Always will be . So don't say shit else to her" KD said before I could respond ."oooo I like him Lani" Breanna said . "Nigga don't come In here disrespectful" Andre said standing up . "Andre stop" I said . "Anyway I'm leaving tomorrow but I will visit you guys every chance I get I promise" I said hugging Aunt Jazz and Breanna. .

"I don't feel comfortable with you leaving with him" Andre said glaring at KD . "Well she is my nigga .. Aye Lani let's go before I do some I regret" KD said . "OK .. Bye everyone" I said . "Nahh nigga do it" Jas said getting up . "stop it" Aunt Jazz said .

KD began to walk towards Jas . "No KD please dont" I said trying to grab his arm but it was too late they both began to fight . Screams filled the room and It was crazy .

Next thing I know I hear a gun shot . "OMG Lani baby" Aunt Jazz said running towards me . I didn't know I had been shot . "shit I didn't mean to shoot her"I hear Andre say as I blacked out .
