Lani's P.O.V

When I looked into KD's eyes It made me just want to break down and cry .. It made me feel so bad to see how hurt he looked .. I took our daughter away from , and not only that I left him .. He's missed out on 2 years of his daughter life because of me .

"Lani so this where yo ass been all this time ? In Cali , keeping my daughter away from me .. the fuck Is wrong with you" he said as his viens popped out , he was mad as hell and I couldn't find my voice to even speak .

"Wait .. Lani I thought you said Zel's dad was dead" breanna said from beside me . "So you telling people Im dead?" He asked getting madder . I still didn't say anything .

"Im already mad Lani and you standing here not saying shit making me even more mad . So you better start talking or I swear Ima drag yo ass out this bitch" He said . "You aint dragging her-" I cut her off .. "Breanna can you let us talk in private" I said looking at her . She looked between us , "ill be in the car" she said walking off . I then looked back at a mad KD  , "look KD Im sorry .. I didn't want any of this to happen the way it did but you hurt me .. To the point I couldn't take it anymore and-" . "Lani you didn't have to leave like that I missed my daughter .. I swear Its taking everything in me not to cut tf up on yo ass in this mall . Do you know how much I missed you girl" he said calming down .

A smile began to form across my face . "Don't smile at me Lani" He said still tryna act mad . "I missed you too KD" I said walking closer to him and grabbing his face . I pulled his face down to mines and did what I've been wanting to do for the past 2 years . I pressed my lips against his and kissed him slowly . He wrapped his arms around my waist , placed his hands on my ass cheeks and pulled me closer to him , even though it wasn't even possible .

I sucked on his bottom lips as I pulled away . I looked into his eyes and smiled . "I really missed you alot and Im sorry" I said to him . "Im still mad asf Lani" he said serious .. I sighed , "You have every right to be .. But so do I KD .. You put me through so much , I had already been through enough but you didn't seem to understand that because you constantly hurt me" I said to him .

He looked sad by hearing the truth , but he needed to .. "Im sorry too .. and when can I see my daughter" he asked .

"Tomorrow .. Give me your phone" I said to him . "Here" he said as he handed it to me . I put my number inside and saved it .

"Alright call me tomorrow .. when your free" I said as began to walk off . "Aye Lani!" He called out to me ..

"Yea?" I asked as I turned around to face him . "I love you" he said smiling . "I love you more" I said smiling .. "Forever and always" he said , "Forever and always baby" I said as walked off with the biggest smile on my face .

I didn't want to see him because I thought I wasn't ready and I was scared but Im happy I did because I missed him and I was happy to see him .. But I forgot to even ask him ...... why is he in Cali ? ..

KD P.O.V

When I saw Lani I was happy and mad at the same damn time .. My baby look so damn fine , she been fine but these 2 years did her some good .. Ass got fatter , Can't wait to ger her back home In my bed .

And I can't wait to see my babygirl .. I miss my her so much .. My girls ARE coming home with me when I leave . That's where they belong , and where they need to be so that I know they're safe .
