*The next day*

KD's P.O.V

I woke up to see it was 2:00 . 'Damn I slept late' I said to myself . I got up cleaned myself up and headed downstairs to chill .

I got downstairs and seen Lani on the couch watching tv . "What you" I asked as I sat beside her . "Love and Basketball and how the hell you sleep so late" She said . "I was tired as hell and I'm sorry about yesterday. . I got caught up on work" I said .

"It's ok.. I understand" She told me . "But I'm going to see my parents today wanna come" I asked her.. "Sure" She smiled .

"Oh What time" She added . "Whenever your done getting ready we'll leave" I told her . "Ok I already showered let me go put on some clothes" She said getting up and going upstairs .

I went up to my room and put on some clothes too . We got gone at the same time . "Ready?" I asked her . "Yea" She said as she grabbed her purse off the couch .

We got Into my car and I made my way to my parents house . About 20 mintues later I pulled up to their house . I parked the car and we got out .

We walked up to the door and I ringed the doorbell .

Mintues later my mom came and opened the door . She smiled at me , "Hey baby" She said bringing me into a hug . "Hey mama" I said to her . She let us in and closed the door .

"And who's this beautiful girl" She asked referring to Lani . "Thank you.. And I'm Lani , KD's-" I cut her off . "Girlfriend" I sais smiling at her . "Friend" She reassured my mom . I laughed lightly , "for now" I said .

"Its nice to meet you" She said to Lani . "Nice to meet you too" She replied to my mom . "D! We got company come here" My mom yelled up the stairs .

My dad came downstairs . "This li nigga ain't company" My dad said causing us to laugh... For my dad to be 42 he looks the same and acts the same his age is literally just a number for him. . The same goes for my mom .

"Well he has a friend here" Myy mom said . My dad looked Lani's way . "Hey.. I'm KD's dad , D" He said to her . "I'm Lani" She replied .

Lani's P.O.V

Damn. . KD daddy fine asf , well both of them fine as hell . We talked and got to know each other. . They're so funny and cool .

"Bye mama bye pops" KD said to them . "Mr. and Mrs.Royce" I said . "Girl please. . Call me mama and him dad" his mom told me . I laughed , "Ok" I said . "You can come by anytime you like" His mama said . "Ok I will. . Bye" I said smiling .

When KD and I pulled up to his house there was car parked there . "Shit" KD said under his voice .

"Who's car is that" I asked as I got out the car . He didn't respond he just got out the car . I got out and walked behind him . A girl got out the car and mugged me . "Monica. . What the fuck you doing here?" KD asked irritated .

"Just wanted to come see you baby" She walking closer to him . KD backed away from her . "Back up and leave. . We not together no more" He told her . "Oh really now? So we wasn't together yesterday at my house in my bed having sex?" She asked as she smirked at me .

KD is like all the other guys. . Ain't about shit ! He kisses me then go and fuck some hoe . Like seriously ?

I walked passed them and pulled out my keys to the house . I opened the door and walked upstairs . I got in my bed , put in my earphones and listened to music .

Moments later KD came in my room . I looked at him and turned away . He walked over to my bed and sat down . I seen him mouthed something but couldn't here because I had my music loud . I took out my earphones , "What'd you say?" I asked him .

"I said I'm sorry Lani" He said said looking into my eyes . "It's all good , we not together now way" I said . I told him is all good But honestly I was sad because I thought we would be something but I wouldn't let him know that .

"But I want to be.. I really like you Lani" He said . I rolled my eyes , I refuse to let him feed me bullshit. . "I'm serious.. I do" He said .

"Whatever KD .. If you really liked me you wouldn't have been out fucking her , you would've been here with me" I said . He sighed and looked ashamed , "Look It's ok I forgive you.. I'll talk with you later" I said . "Ok" He said getting off my bed .. He leaned down and tried to kiss my cheek , I moved my head . "No.. Bye" I said . He sighed and left my room .

I put my earphones in my ear and listened to my music . Is bad that he was still on my mind ?
