Chapter 40

Sakura's pov
I freeze in my tracks feeling the fear rising. I could feel my body slightly shake from fear I look over to Itachi. He was completely still when he felt my gaze he nodded signaling to jump down. I slowly nod and in that moment we both jump down. I straighten up looking dead at a orange spiral mask. I knew that this man was behind the attack off the nine tailed fox. I could see something come out of the ground I soon a plant looking creative come out off the ground...Zetsu huh? It was dead silent for a few minutes until the man in the mask spoke up " Ahh so Itachi you decided to betray the Akatsuki I see..." I could feel the slight anger from Itachi " Can you blame me Madara? " he said completely calm without emotions I hear the man chuckle " Are here to get us? That will be useless..." I hear Itachi chuckle darkly " I know how your body is the way it is I'm not that stupid if you think that I didn't figure that you and Kakashi share the same Mangekyou sharingan and I'm  guessing that you have the kamui. " the man was left speechless but soon spoke " And what is that is true? You still can't get me you don't have the same ability to get to my real body. " he laughed Itachi immediately snapped at the man " I may not but Kakashi does. " I heard the man laugh again " I don't see Kakashi anywhe- " he stoped when he heard footsteps from behind us " Your sure of that are you? " I heard Kakashi's voice from behind me. Soon enough Kakashi was next to me I could tell the man was speechless Itachi looked over at Kakashi. Kakashi just nodded and pulls his headband from his sharingan and transported me and Itachi in to the dimension. As soon as we arrived so did Madara. I looked at the man in front of me with fear rising in stomach. I felt myself insanely shake I was fearing if I and Itachi were able to defeat this man in front of us after all he is the M͟a͟d͟a͟r͟a͟ U͟c͟h͟i͟h͟a͟. I was afraid we were going to die here and disappoint the whole village I heard the man chuckling "How do you expect to defeat me your shaking" I look at him dead in the eye and forced myself to stop shaking "Shut up" I spat at him with anger. In a matter of seconds the man flashed and vanished I immediately turned around and I block the punch coming my way. "Your good but are you fast enough to keep up with me" the man said he vanished again so I quickly turned around to block his powerful kick. And from there all 3 of us went in to a long and intense hand to hand combat. I didn't have enough time to dodge I felt a powerful blow in my lower abdomen. I felt blood coming up to my mouth I spat the blood out and I charged up some of my chakra into my hand. I punched the man directly in the face sending him flying to the wall. I looked at the mad with his back cold against the wall and his mask in plenty of pieces on the ground in front of him. I get back into position getting really for him to attack at any given minute. I saw him slowly get up with his head down it felt as if we were in slow motion as he lifted his head. I was shocked the man in front of us wasn't Madara Uchiha..that is someone else..he looked at me with that blood red eye. His other eye was closed he had scars on the other side of his face..I heard him say in completely different voice "Bravo Sakura Haruno you have destroyed my mask." he sounds unfazed..I come to my senses and I answer coldly "That wasn't my intention but now that I know your not Madara I'm no longer afraid." I saw him visibly getting mad I smirked and vanished behind him "Calm yourself now." I said as I kicked him with a lot of force in the lower back making him fall on his knees in pain. He got up swiftly and threw a powerful punch at me I caught his hand and snapped it. I heard him groan in pain I didn't waste time and kneed him in the stomach. I see him fall on to the ground coughing up blood I reached in to my pouch and I pulled out 3 needles I stabbed them into the pressure point of his neck making him appear dead which he was not. I looked over at Itachi he nodded and pickup up the unknown man and placed him over his shoulder. In a few minutes we were back where we started I saw the plant man laying on the ground. I changed if there was a pulse only to sense nothing. I placed him over my shoulder so that Lady Tsunade could look at the body. We looked for Kakashi and it seemed as he went ahead so we started to run back to the village. After a few hours of running we finally arrived at the gates of the village we immediately made our way to Lady Tsunade's office. We quickly walked up the stairs and knocked on her door we heard a very tired come in. We opened the door and stepped in we bowed to the older woman in respect. We stood up straight now looking at the older woman in front of us she was the first one to speak "I see you made in safe take them away we sat up the room and Sakura I see blood on the corners of your mouth what happened?" I completely forgot I got punched in the stomach and I started to panic "I got punched in the stomach my lady.." Tsunade's expression went wide she answer immediately "Itachi go put them in the room and Sakura you come with me." Itachi nodded and immediately disappeared in his black crows.
