Sakura's pov I lifted my head to see Itachi sitting next to me rubbing my back. I smile as I wipe my eyes wiping the tears away. I then wipe my mouth and I get up "Thank you Itachi." I said he smiled and walked back into the living room leaving me to go dry my hair and fix myself up. I take the towel of my head and I hang it up I then comb though my hair making sure there were no knots in it. I then brushed my teeth to get rid of that disgusting bile taste. I wipe my mouth cleaning the toothpaste on the sides of my face. I finally exit the bathroom and I sit down next to Itachi resting my head on his shoulder. He looked at me softly "Are you okay now?" I nodded as I closed my eyes intaking his sent. He smiles and planted a light kiss on my forehead. I smile as I felt a huge rush of tiredness and exhaustion take over me. I let my body relax as I doze of to dreamland.
Itachi's pov I continued to clean my weapons since they were getting dirty from constant use. I look over to see Sakura peacefully sleeping she looked so peaceful and carefree. I smiled to myself and kissed the top of her head. I went back to cleaning my last kunai knife. When I was done I quietly place it down making sure not to wake Sakura up. I turn my head to see her peaceful and carefree face I wrap my left arm around her shoulders and my right under her knees. I got up and lifted the pink haired woman up lightly making sure not to wake her. I started to slowly make my way to the hallway and to the stairs. I went up the stairs as quietly as I could when I finished reached our room I open the door quietly and I slowed placed her on the bed. I start to remove my anbu uniform changing into my home wear. I quietly got in the bed and wrapped my arms around Sakura bringing her closer to me. All I could remember was a wave of exhaustion hit me hard. I dozed of into dreamland intaking Sakura's sweet sent.
Sakura's pov I start to feel myself being taken out of my slumber I slowly flutter my eyes open. As soon as my eyes open they immediately close from the amount of light. I slowly open them again letting them adjust to the light finally being able to keep them open. I sit up but I'm immediately get pulled down facing Itachi's face "Your not going anywhere." he said in a really raspy and a slight deeper voice I could feel the goosebumps going down my spine as I heard him say that. I tried to sit up again but I could even get up to sit up since Itachi's grip was too strong "Itachi let go of me I'll make some food for us." I said trying to get him to let go of me but it was no use he was letting go at all. I sighed and I closed my eyes letting sleep overtake my body once again. When I woke up the second time I no longer felt Itachi's warm presence I frowned at the cold bed side as I sat up. I stretched my arms from the sleeping position I was in as I was in a really stiff. I pulled the covers off of my body immediately feeling the cold sensation of the room. I shivered at the cold room and I placed my feet on the cold floor getting up I make my way to the door opening it and walking down stairs. As I walked down I could already smell the eggs and bacon I smile as I continue to walk into the kitchen. I step into the kitchen and I see Itachi cooking I smile and I quietly walk up behind him and I hug him placing my head on his shoulder. I felt him jump slightly I let out a small laugh at his reaction I place a light kiss on the crook of his neck as I watch him cook the bacon carefully. I see him smile a little from the corner of my eye I smile seeing him smile. I hug him tighter closing my eyes intaking his sent as I relax into his body.I opened my eyes as I felt him kiss the top of my head I smile warmly "Come eat I'll set up the table." I nodded and went to sit down as I watched Itachi set up the table and sitting down right afterwards. I see him look up at me smiling "Go on you can dig in." I smile and I start to eat we eat silently. I took a sip of my tea "Is everything okay? Your awfully silent today." I heard Itachi say I placed my mug down on to the table sighing "No I'm perfectly okay I just want our baby to be here with us ya know?" I see Itachi smile and nod in understanding "I wonder what our baby will look like." I heard Itachi say in a rather curious tone. I look at him and I laugh "I wonder as well maybe it's a boy." I say I see Itachi's eyes lit up "I don't care if it's a boy or a girl but if it's a boy I would be the happiest man on the earth." I smile and nod in understanding "I want to find out the gander but it's too early we'll have to wait a few more weeks to find out." I said trying to hide the sadness in my voice. I see Itachi get up walking over to me and hugging me "We will find out soon until we do we can think of names for our baby." I smile warmly with tears forming in the corners of my eyes as I hug the man I love so much back "I love that." I said while hugging him even tighter.
