Chapter 12

Sakura's pov
Tsunade says with happiness in her voice to sasuke " Sasuke Uchiha welcome back. " I was shocked that she was this calm I look at sasuke I could see that he was surprised as well. Tsunade smiles and she says towards me " Sakura take your mask off. " I stare at her blankly I hesitate to take my mask of but I nod my hand travels to my mask slowly taking it off when I took it off she looked satisfied. She smiled and she said the one thing that was hard for me to take in " Sasuke you will be in team 7 I take that when you killed Orochimaru it was supposed to be Sakura's mission to kill him. But you did instead so Kakashi will look after you to make sure you don't do anything stupid. As for you Sakura you have to make a choice. " I look at her blankly I know what she's going to make choice she looked at me seriously and she said in a dangerous tone " You are one of the strongest in the Anbu if not the strongest you don't want to be the captain of the Anbu black ops what a shame. So Sakura choice are going to take the position of being the captain of the Anbu black ops or go back to be in your team 7..." she finished leaving me speechless I knew that I need to decide as much as I hate this I can't go back to team 7 I will only be useless once again. Being the captain of the Anbu black ops will bring me so much unwanted attention everybody will know who is the captain. I can't I just can't decide I don't want to be the captain neither go back to my old team. I look at her and I give her a hint of pain in my eyes and I say in my calm tone " I cannot decide my lady can you give some time to think about my decision. " she nodded softly as in a yes and she said calmly " You have 2 days to give me your answer now Sasuke you will be living with Naruto. " sasuke looks at Tsunade confused and he asks " What why? " Tsunade sighs and she says with quilt filling her voice " Because the  home you grow up isn't a good idea to live in it's filled with pain and sadness try to understand sasuke. " she says he nods but isn't Naruto on a mission? I ask Tsunade " When is Naruto returning? " she looks at me and she says " In 2 days so in those 2 days you have free days and sasuke is going to live with you understood? " I nod softly and I see her smile and she says " You are dismissed! " I bow and so does sasuke me and sasuke exit her office and I start to think about my decision. I'm deep in my thoughts and I realize that I walked out off Tsunade's office without my mask on. I panic and I quickly put it over my face I see sasuke look at me confused and he asks " Why don't you take it off? " I look at him and I say coldly " It's my duty to wear it. " I see him raise an eyebrow and he asks " When did you join or in other words leave the team 7? " I freeze at the question and I look at him I reply with a little hint of pain in my voice " Well almost 3 years ago I joined... " I says as we arrive in front off my front door I unlock it and I open the door I let Sasuke in first. I close the door behind me and I take my shoes of I walk to the kitchen and I start to make myself and Sasuke food. I finish cooking the meals and I place them on the table Sasuke got up from the sofa and he sat down at the table. I soon sit down and we start to eat as we eat sasuke asks one question that I wasn't ready to answer " If I leave the village again will I have to knock you out like before? " I look at him with shock but I answer " I don't know why do you ask? " he shrugs his shoulders and he continues to eat when I finish my food I wash the dirty dishes. I look at sasuke and I say " You should go shower . " he looks at me confused but he nods I lead him to my bathroom. I go to my room when I hear the water turn on when I get to my room I put my mask on the table and I look at and I think if I make my decision I might not have to wear this anymore but the truth is I like hiding under a mask. I want to be in the Anbu it's better for not only me but the team that I have left behind. I don't want to be protected I sweared to myself when sasuke left that I will no longer be a burden and I will keep my word. I suddenly hear the water stop running so I grab my clean clothes and I walk downstairs I see sasuke all ready dressed drying his hair. I lead him to my room and I tell him to wait here for me he nodded and I walk downstairs to the bathroom shutting the door and locking it. I start the water I undress myself and I step in the shower the hot water hitting my back feels so relaxing I wash my hair and my body I turn the water off and I grab a towel wrapping myself in it. I step out the shower rubbing my wet hair with another towel I then get dressed and I brush my teeth. I exit my bathroom and I go back to my room. I get to my room with sasuke asleep on my bed. I sigh and I tuck him in I bend down and I slide a mattress from under my bed. I throw a pillow and a blanket on the mattress and I lay down exhausted. I don't want to decide but I'm forced to. I suddenly feel my eyes getting heavy so I shut and soon I doze off.
