Chapter 14

Sakura's pov
I stand in front of Itachi with the jinchuuriki on his shoulder. I see him drop the jinchuuriki quite slowly and gently almost as he didn't want to hurt him. He stood up to face me and as soon as I knew he threw a kunai at me how did I not see him throwing it? I catch the kunai in between my fingers and I throw it back at him. He dodges it by jumping up forming hands signs if I should guess it for a fire technique and I wasn't wrong I see the fireball fly my way so I jump high enough not to get hit by it. I land back down I don't plan on using to much chakra since his weakness are stamina since the sharingan basically drains your chakra and he had it activated in his fight with the jinchuuriki since I see the visible blood under his left eye. I see him running towards me with a kunai so I pull a needle out and I block his kunai with my needle I hear the metal hit and I see him smirk. I see his eyes turn in to a different pattern now he's serious he activated his well known mangekyou sharingan if I look in to his eyes it's over for me. I look down avoiding eye contact with the older man. I feel a presence behind me a clone huh I tighten my grip on his hand causing him to drop his kunai I feel a strong arm around my neck starting to lock me in place. I stab the needle in to the clones abdomen causing it to disappear. I tuned back to Itachi and I look at my hand damn it the 100 healing mark has been activated I look at the back marks on my hands. I deactivate my mark and I see kunais and shuriken come my way I dodge them and I manage to form a earth clone. My earth clone was behind Itachi and when I he was about to turn around the clone had knocked him out I see him fall down. The clone disappears and I tie Itachi's arms up and I toss him over my shoulder I call Yuko and I point at the jinchuuriki she nodded and I yell loud enough that they all hear me " Our mission is complete let's go! " they all nod while dodging Kisame's attack. We all start to quickly form hand sings and shortly after we all disappear. We appear just an hour away from the Konoha gates. We yet again start to jump from tree to tree. When we spot the gates we stop in front off them and I turn to my team and I say " You all did well I will take Itachi Uchiha to the Hokage myself. But you Yuko take the jinchuuriki in to the Konoha hospital but all off you are dismissed" they all nod and they shortly after they disappear. I calmly walk to the Hokage tower exhausted I walk up the stairs when I finally spot her office I make my way to her door and I knock lightly. I hear her calm come in so I open the door and I go inside I shut the door and I bow to her I see her eyes travel from her paperwork to me. As her eyes stop at my shoulder she says calmly " I see you are back Sakura and I see you are back with Itachi Uchiha. Well done place him on the floor. " I simply nod and I place him gently on the floor with his back to the wall so he is sitting on the floor. I look at the older women in front off me when she finally says with quilt filling her voice " Now what I will tell you sakura won't me easy for you but Sakura I want you to step down from being a Anbu..." I feel my eyes widen from the shock I ask her with noticeable anger in my voice " So was this my last mission will I be returning back to team 7? Tsunade-sama you can't do this to me after all these years? " I demand answers I see her look down she looked back at me with pure quilt and sadness in her eyes before telling me" Sakura I am sorry but please give me your mask you will be returning to team 7 and the Anbu will have to listen to you even if you are no longer a member nor the captain. " I bite my bottom lip. I sigh when my hand travels to my mask.

Itachi's pov
I wake up my head spinning I slowly open my eyes my eyes still adjusting to the amount of light. When I open the completely I look around the room and I realize that I am in the fifths Hokage office but what does she want from me? I see the Anbu that I have met and I fought with. I see they're hand slowly traveling to their mask. I am I going to finally find out who is behind that mask. I see them lifting up the mask slowly taking it off and as soon the mask is off I see they're hair drop to their shoulders. Her unique hair color now I understand why she is disappearing with Sakura pebbles her hair is why. I see her place her mask on the hokage's desk and I hear the Hokage say " Sakura I know you are upset with me but you being the strongest in the Anbu puts so much pressure on you just like it did on Itachi. " so she is the strongest in the Anbu huh. But Tsunade is right me not only being the youngest and the strongest placed a lot of pressure on me not only by my village but also from my clan. I hear Sakura sigh and asking calmly " I understand now Tsunade-sama why did you want me to bring you Itachi Uchiha? " Tsunade sighed and she answered blankly " So Sasuke can stop chasing after him. " I see Sakura raise her eyebrow before she said " So you are telling me that you will let sasuke kill him? " she says with a hint off anger in her voice.
