Chapter 35

Itachi's pov
I separate my lips from Sakura's smooth forehead I look at as she places her left hand over her mouth her eyes shutting tightly when she opened them they were watering she is tired. I smile as I see her eye lids get heavy as she refused to shut and rest  them " Lay your head down in to my lap. " I say she looks at me and smiles I see her shift herself so that she can lay her head down in my lap I look on to the coffee table and I see three book on top of each other. I reach my hand out to grab the very first book on the top I then feel weight being placed on my lap I look down and I see Sakura her eyes were shut I smile as I open the book to find out that it was the book I didn't get to finish I flipped through the pages till I found the page I left off the last time I read the book. I started to read the book while my left hand rested on Sakura's stomach drawing small circles with my thumb around her whole abdomen. I look down at her to see her smiling as her eyes were closed I smile as my eyes return to the book in my hand. After about 15 minutes I hear soft and quiet snores I smile knowing that it's coming from Sakura I quietly place the book on the table since I finished reading it I lightly place my left hand under Sakura's knees and my right hand grabbed her forearm lightly I slowly started to get up from the sofa. I adjust my right hand to her back so I support her better. I then slowly and quietly start to make my way to our bedroom. I walk up the stairs spotting the door to our bedroom I slid the door open and I gently lay Sakura down tucking her in. I then pull the blinds so it wasn't so bright in the room and lastly I planted a soft kiss on her forehead. I then made my way back to the kitchen as I was about to cook dinner. I start to make dinner for Sakura and I I suddenly feel a unfamiliar presence I grab a kunai that I left on the kitchen counter I grab it and I swiftly throw it at the person entering my home through the window I then turn around to see an Anbu holding the kunai in between his fingers I sigh in relief as I didn't want to deal with an enemy right now they throw the kunai back to me and I place it back on to the counter and I asked turning the heat down on the stove " What is it you want? " I asked calmly " Well lady Hokage is calling you to her office now Itachi-sama. " I let a out a annoyed sigh and I simply reply " I'll be there now you may leave. " I say they nodded and disappeared in a poof of smoke. I sigh as I was just done cooking oh well I go find a piece of paper and a pen to leave Sakura a note so she wasn't worried if I didn't get home before she woke up. I finish writing the note and I read to just to make sure:

I sigh and I leave the note on the dining table I walk to the hallway and I put my ninja sandals on I then grabbed the keys and I leave the house. I start to head to the Hokage tower yet again I walked up the stairs to lady Tsunade's office I knock on the door lightly I hear a calm enter. I pull the door open and I bow to the older woman in front of me I stand up straight and I look at the woman in front and I ask " You have summoned me lady hokage? " she looked at me and nodded " I am sorry to bother so late but the Akatsuki will attack our village to claim the nine tails I first wanted to tell you since you have worked with them do you by any chance know who will attack the village. " she said in a very serious and dangerous tone I off course knew who it was Pain and possibly Konan I think for a second " Well my partner Kisame is dead Hidan and Kakuzu are dead Sasori is dead too and Deidara is here looked up am I right. " she nodded " Yes Kisame Hoshigaki was taken out by team Gai Sasori of the red sand was taken out by Sasuke and his team Taka before he returned to the village Deidara was taken by Sakura and is now our prisoner and Hidan and Kakuzu were taken out by you and Sakura so who is left? " she asked I instantly answered " Pain,Konan,Tobi and Zetsu I am positive that Pain and Konan will attack since Zetsu and Tobi are weak but Lady Hokage I would go after Zetsu and Tobi first. " I said she looked " Are you sure Itachi? " I nodded " Don't tell anyone about this not even Naruto or Jiraiya they will ruin my plan. " she looked at me confused " Why are you advising me not to tell anyone? " I sigh " Because I know this whole village to well Naruto would immediately go after him himself and Jiraiya would do the same I will go after them with Sakura and before we leave I will tell Naruto and Sasuke to train for Pains attack but I won't tell them that someone will attack. I will train Sasuke myself and you lady Hokage set a chakra barrier around the whole village if you don't Pain will destroy the whole village out off his own Pain. There is one more thing I need to tell you about Pain. " I said she looked at me shocked that I came up with a effective and smart plan in under a minute.
