Chapter 5

Sakura's pov
I start to wake up to a familiar presence I swiftly grab a kunai and I throw it in the direction. I quickly get up and I see a man in a Anbu mask on. I sigh in relief and I ask.

Sakura: What is it you need its 4 in the morning.
Anbu: I'm sorry I woke you up with worry Sakura-san but lady Tsunade wishes to see you.
Sakura: Tell her I'm on my way.

The Anbu simply nodded and left through my window. I walk to the window and I close it and I thought that today is my day off I guess not. I yawn and I walk downstairs and I walk over to the bathroom and I rinse my face with ice cold water. I grab a towel and I pat my face dry. I brush my teeth and hair I put my hair up and I turn off the lights in the bathroom and I walk upstairs to my room. I get to my room and I get dressed in my Anbu uniform and finally I put my mask on. I walk downstairs and I put my shoes on. I then quickly make hand signs and I appear in front off Tsunade's office. I knock and I hear her say come in fast this must be an issue since she is always so calm. I open the door and I bow I close it behind and I ask.

Sakura: You summoned me lady Tsunade?
Tsunade: Yes I'm sorry to wake you up this early in the morning but we got information that the Akatsuki are now heading to the hidden sand village to capture Gaara. I know you have a free day but I need you to-
Sakura: You need me to protect Gaara and my mission is not to let the Akatsuki capture him am I right?

She nodded.

Tsunade: Do you accept this mission?
Sakura: Yes it's for the sake of the hidden sand.

He smiled and said.

Tsunade: Be careful you understand we don't know how many are gonna appear and we all know that all off them are ridiculously strong.

I nod and she said.

Tsunade: Some other Anbus are going with you you are dismissed!
Sakura: Hai!

As I was turning to the door and I reached for the door knob Tsunade said.

Tsunade: And Sakura if you defeat one take them back to the hidden leaf immediately!

I nod and I open the door and I leave. I run to the gates of the village and I see Anbus following I gave them a signal that I'm going ahead and I see them giving me a signal to go. I head out and in a couple of hours I get to the hidden sand. I see explosions and I suspect that the Akatsuki are already here. I make hand sings and I appear in front of the two Akatsuki members.

Deidara: Looks like a hidden leaf Anbu is here how interesting un.
Sakura: You may not take another single step inside the village you understand.
Sasori: You think you can take on me and Deidara do you? How silly.
Sakura: I do not think so but I'm ordered to.

I see the blonde member forming something in his hand I quickly grabbed a kunai and I throw it at him. I was quick to catch on he was from the hidden stone I knew that he has stolen a kenjutsu. And I was also aware that he has a kekkei genkai explosive release. He dodged the kunai and stopped the action.

Deidara: Sasori my man leave it to me you go on ahead.

He nodded I knew that the Anbu are near me so I give a signal. As the other was going into the village he got stopped by the Anbus.

Deidara: I see you brought back up how smart un.

I run towards him with a kunai in my hand he quickly grabbed a kunai that I threw earlier and all I heard was the metal hit. I jump away from him and I from my hand sings.

Sakura: Fire style: Phoenix flower jutsu!

I see him dodge the flaming hot shurikens. I see him throw one off his bombs so I quickly make hand signs and I run lightning through my whole body since I knew he used earth and earth is weak to lightning. I jump back down and I form hand sings yet again.

Sakura: Water style: Raging waves!

I blow the water at him and I make a water clone. I snuck the clone behind him when he would land back down my clone would knock him up. And my plan was a success as he landed he immediately rolled his eyes and shut his eyes. I appear in front of him and I tie him up I also take care off his hands I shut them with a steal and I head to the other Anbu. I see that they have a difficult time so I jump in front off them and I say.

Sakura: Go to the kazekage and protect him I'll handle this.

They nodded I know him as well Sasori of the red sand. He left the hidden sand 20 years ago I know that he is a puppet master with a deadly poison. I see needles so I dodge them all. I then see the puppet open it's mouth to only see more needles. I dodge them yet again and I see the tail going towards me. I dodge the tail in mid air. I land back down but the tail comes my way away I dodge and I take kunais out with a little off my chakra and I throw them. He protects himself with the tail so I land back down. I see the tail going towards me but I stand still. The tail stop thanks to my chakra as I jump up and I strike down his puppet. I he jumped back and looked around for his partner but I knew that the Anbus took him with them. I smirk under my mask and I say.

Sakura: Is something wrong? You looking for your partner too bad.
Sasori: You sound like a kid but I have to admit you are pretty good.
Sakura: Hmm now you listen get lost.
Sasori: Tsk! You will pay kid.

And so he disappeared I didn't sense his chakra so I headed to Gaara's office. I knock and I heard him say come in. I open the door and and I bow I close the door behind me and I say.

Sakura: Lord kazekage I wanted to inform you to stay alert.
Gaara: Right I would like to thank you.
Sakura: No need to thank me.
Gaara: I think that it's over you may return to the hidden leaf.

I nod and I am I gave a signal to the Anbu to leave with the member of the Akatsuki first. They nodded and I then bowed and I left Gaara's office. I then headed back to the hidden leaf. After a couple of hours I finally got to the hidden leaf.
