Chapter 26

Sakura's pov
I snap out off dreamland by someone flicking my forehead I slowly start to open my eyes my eyes still adjusting to the amount of light. I slowly but surely flutter my eyes open and I get greeted by the familiar onyx eyes and I bright smile. I smile back in return and I rub my sleepy eyes I sit up I could feel a yawn so I put my hand over my mouth as I feel my eyes water and then shut eventually. I remove my hand and I open my eyes rubbing the tears that have formed on the corners of my eyes I look at Itachi and I ask almost immediately remembering that at 5 I need to be at the training grounds " Itachi what time is it? " his attention shifts from his book to me almost immediately he smiles before taking " It's 4:30 pm. " I let out a sigh of relief knowing that I have 30 more minutes to spare I nod and I get off of the sofa and I walk in to the bathroom turning the lights on I look at myself in the mirror I was already dressed in my ninja outfit only my hair is a mess I wouldn't be surprised. I reach for the hairbrush and I brush trough my almost waist long hair. I place the brush down as I'm now satisfied with my hair I see a hair tie on my drawer so I put on my wrist just in case I need it. I walk out the bathroom turning the lights off I sit back on to the sofa and Itachi not looking away from his book asks me " Whare are you headed anyway? " I turn my head to him and I sigh looking forward " Well me,Sasuke and Naruto are going against Kakashi-sensai like we did when we were 12." he nods in understanding. He then asks still not looking at me " Can I come and see how much you all improved? " I look at him with wide eyes trying to process his question I still answer it anyway " Sure. " I could see him smile. I look at the clock and I see that it's 4:55 I get up and I say " Let's go we have to be there in 5 minutes. " Itachi shuts the book and gets up walking to the hallway we put our shoes on and we leave the house as fast as possible. We luckily make just in time I see Sasuke sitting in a tree I look for Naruto off course he is sleeping. I look to my side seeing that Itachi is hidden himself I walk over to the drilling knucklehead and I punch him on the head he opens his eyes and starts to rub his head while whining " Sakura-chan that hurt why did you do that?! " I sigh and I say " Baka you shouldn't be sleeping. " he stops whining and rubbing his head and he say " Hey where is teme he is late and so is Kakashi-sensei!!" I sigh as I see a rock being throw from Sasuke as soon as the rock hits Naruto he looked up and he gave a death glare " Dope I'm not late I've been here almost an hour now. " I could see Naruto building his rage up " Teme come down so I can crush you!! " he yelled trying to climb up the tree but failing. I sigh and I grab Naruto by the shoulders and I stop him from climbing the tree " Sakura-chan let me at him!! " he said almost yelling in my face I sigh and I say " Naruto stop it we have to work together remember? " he then stops trying to get out of my grip and looks down in defeat. I let go of him and as soon as I do Kakashi appears and Naruto points at him and yells " YOUR LATE!! " Kakashi smiles awkwardly while scratching the back of his neck " Hey guys,sorry I'm late, I'm- " we all cut him off finishing his sentence " Afraid I got lost on the path of life okay we get it. " we say in unison. Kakashi smiles and says " Alright you guys know what to do just take these 2 bells away from me it's as simple as that. " I look at the Naruto and then at Sasuke nodding " We know sensei. " I say Kakashi smiles " Start! " me,Sasuke and Naruto all hide I conceal my chakra and I pull 3 needles out off my pouch I aim at Kakashi's feet and I throw them. Kakashi dodges them with ease we then all come out off our hiding spots and start with Taijutsu I throw a kick after kick while Sasuke throws punches at him and lastly Naruto throws hard kicks and punches he dodges but with less ease. I back up and I quickly make hand signs for a genjutsu " Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique! " I yell as I see Kakashi get trapped in the genjutsu I quickly yell at Naruto and Sasuke " Naruto Sasuke get the bells before the breaks through my genjutsu!! " they nod and quickly take the bells from Kakashi and jump away from him to my sides. I see Kakashi break through my genjutsu he looks to his hip before looking at us with visible smile on his face " I've taught you guys well you have excellent teamwork. " I smile and I look at the two boys smile to I was surprised to see Sasuke smiling Naruto and Sasuke throw Kakashi the bells back to  and Kakashi says " You guys are dismissed. " we nod and all off us part ways I see a bunch off crows appear in front off me so I stop and I wach as the crows form in a figure and as I expected it was Itachi he walked over to me and hugged me before telling me " You did well. " I return the hug he soon pulls away and we head back.
