On Tuesday Adeline visited Nora after she got off work. The first trimester put a toll on her and they barely have seen each other in the last weeks. While the pregnancy wasn't planed, she didn't recall a time in which she saw her friend that happily in a relationship. Jimmy seemed to take great care of her. Nora said he insists on accompanying her on every doctor's appointment and read every parental advisor book there is.

She felt so happy for her friend, she spared her the feud between her and Adam, it was a step into pretending to slowly give up on him.

Yesterday showed her he wouldn't be able to forgive her, and she understood that, but it hurt so fucking much. Once in a while images of him yelling at her would randomly pop up into her head and make a good moment falter.

Adeline finally told Nora about the opportunity in Bristol instead, thinking it was about time she knows.

"Bristol? Are you for real?" Nora said in disbelieve as she announced the news.

"I mean yeah...no one in this whole fucking city wants to employ me, so I applied to a company in Bristol and the interview went pretty well..."

"I can't believe you only telling me this now!" She replied but not with anger but rather with surprise.

"I didn't want to upset you further, since you had such a hard time with your pregnancy...and nothing is set in stone yet, they probably don't even want me. You know how terrible unemployment feels, I just had to try."

"I know you just meant well. I was so scared when I told my HR that I'm pregnant, thought he'd fire me and then we wouldn't get that extra money and everything..." She sighed.

"How did it go?"

"He said he just became a father so he was very understanding, thank god." Nora took another sip of her water.

"Oh great! Though I do think Jim has more than enough to support you, Bennet paid very well."
"I know he does, it's just... I don't want to be too dependent on him. Don't get me wrong he's handling the pregnancy so well but I guess I'm just paranoid. If shit goes down the drain I wouldn't have enough money, or a place to live or..." She was rambling and Adeline knew that so she took her friend's hand to calm her.

"It will be alright, love. He won't leave your side...and if he does I'll burn his house and we live together forever. I could be the crazy aunt?" Adeline asked jokingly making her smile again. She knew nevertheless that it wouldn't happen in a million years and dreamed of a love like that. When she made her way home, waiting for the train at the stuffy underground station she texted with Ruby with a while who seemed to have gotten a job she was very excited about. All those great things happened to her friends, all those great things that didn't happen to her and while she thought the jealousy would eat her up it never did. She felt truly and utterly happy for them.

On Wednesday Adeline had nothing on her list for the day. Out of her window though, she could witness the high amount of people who enjoyed the sun and today she wanted to be one of them. It was a nice afternoon, George just came back from work and so they took a stroll through the park near their flat. Adeline wore her favorite green dress that made her look taller and prettier and overall she always thought that it made her look more sophisticated.

"I feel like we're an old couple." Her flat-mate said.

"Oh, dear god, there are a lot of people our age here, it's not an old people thing to have a walk."

"Feels like it tough...Hey did the Johnson enterprise people call you back already?"
"You mean Thompson and no, sadly they didn't. I'm slowly getting crazy."

She said but the second Adeline closed her mouth her phone rang.

"Oh my god, that's them." She said in disbelief.

"What are you waiting for? Take it!"

She hung up after ten minutes of pacing back in forth in front of the white bench on which George was sat on.

"And?" He asked, his back hunched and his arms resting on his tights.

She smiled at him sheepishly.

"You got it, didn't you?"

"I did!" She screamed and suddenly the both of them turned into 5 year old's jumping up and down screeching and hugging until Adeline bend her foot weirdly.

"AH!" She screamed barely maintaining balance and limped to the bench trying to sit down.

"What did you do?" George asked with wide eyes.

"I don't know, it hurts very badly."

"Your foot isn't it?" She nodded and sniffled.

"God damn it woman...Okay guess we'll bring you to the next hospital, come here."

Her friend took her arm over his shoulder so that they could get out of the park and find a cab.

Adam was more than bored even if he officially declared his break as a failure and was back in the game. This morning he sent in a video tape for another potential movie that distracted him for a while but the feeling wouldn't last. And not only that, he was unhappy. He loved acting for sure but in his time off he didn't do what he really wanted to. Initially he wanted to learn how to write a good script, find out if that even was for him and now he was back doing what he always did –and it bored him so fucking much.

Not only that but he also sat in a huge heap of regret and shame. He couldn't believe he said what he said. She seemed so vulnerable, he knew that was hard for her. And he goes off and calls her a whore. Adam never felt so ashamed for anything in his life. He knew it was the anger he felt towards her that was usually overshadowed by his real feelings, mixed with the sadness that was caused by Rebekka leaving him he exploded.

I know you probably despise me...

She is perfect and you're nothing next to her!

The echoes of the fight just wouldn't leave his head and every time they showed up again his heart began to hurt a little more. How could he say those things to the woman he loves?
