Chapter 16

AN~~ Now as you probably already know, unless I write otherwise this story is always in Vanessa's P.O.V! Just thought I'd mention it! Haha. Anyway, enjoy Chapter 16! <3

"Oh my god! Who is that!" I shout, and a bunch of possibilities pop into my head. Like Bridget, Kikki, Renee, Zoey, Corina, Elliot, Wesley, Mini Mew, Tarb, Sardon, and Dawn.

"I'm not sure, but lets go find out." Dren says jumping up. He grabs my hand and we walk quickly towards the voices. We exit the tunnel that is the exit of our clearing, and see everybody! Everyone I thought, with the exception of Dawn.

"VANESSA!!" Kikki shouts. She was standing shoulder to shoulder with Tarb, but she hopped over to me and pulled me into a giant hug.

"Hey Kikki! Hey everyone!" I say, laughing.

"Oh my god! Vanessa! We found you!" Bridget says, running over to hug me as well.

"Hi!" I say, hugging her back.

"Vanessa! Hi!" Zoey shouts, hugging me, with Bridget and Kikki still squished between Zoey and I. Zoey, Kikki, and Bridget let go, and then Renee and Corina come over to hug me.

"Hey Vanessa. We missed you!" Corina says happily.

"Hey, you had us worried." Renee says calmly, but smiling too.

''Sorry guys! I missed you!'' I say when I'm finished hugging everyone. Tarb runs over to Dren and says hi excitedly. Sardon waves and says hello. Wow, you'd think that they would at least hug. Oh well, Dren looks happy and that's all that matters.

''Vanessa! Vanessa!'' Mini Mew calls in his cute little voice.

''Hi Mini Mew!'' I says, pulling the little puff into my arms. I let go and he just keeps saying hi, and Vanessa! Haha.

''Vanessa! Hey, what are you doing down here?'' Elliot says, quickly hugging me. Dren looks at Elliot for a second, not very happily I might add, and then starts to talk to Tarb again.

''Hey, w-well.. It's kind of a long story.'' And I explain to everyone about how Dren and I were fighting and we fell in this hole, and everything else. The whole story.

"Wow. You must've been really scared, when you almost fell into that hole in the little cave." Wesley says.

"Yeah, it was freaky. Good thing I had the Cyniclon's strongest warrior, Dren, here to save me." I say sarcastically, laughing.

"Ugh! For the last time I am the strongest warrior! Ask Sardon and Tarb! C'mon guys, tell her!" He shouts, face red like last time.

"Well, I don't understand how it happened, but its true. He is." Sardon says.

"Oh! Really!? You were telling the truth? I thought you were just gloating because you helped me! Ahaha." I say, surprised. I didn't realize he actually was! Wow.

"See!? I told you I was! Jeez.." He says, and his face goes back to its normal, very pale, colour.

"Sorry Dren." I say, pouting.

"Yeah, yeah. It's alright." He says, crossing his arms.

"By the way, how'd you know to find us here?" I ask. Everyone looks to Kikki and Tarb.

"We just thought that because of the big hole in the ground in the same area, that maybe you guys went in there or something." Kikki explains.

"It was mostly Tarb's idea." She says, pointing at Tarb.

"Well thanks guys!" I say.

"Yeah, thanks! Now, how do we get out?" Dren asks.

"Uh..." Everyone says faces going red. Dren and I look at each other, him coming to the same realization as me.

"You have no idea, do you?" We say at the same time.

"Haha.. Yeah, sorry. We have absolutely no idea at all." Bridget says, looking down at her feet. Dren and I sigh, and I point towards the way we came from.

"Alright, for now, who's hungry?" I say. Everyone say 'Me!' and follows Dren and I to our little clearing. I forgot to mention this part to them. They probably have no idea how we survived, because they thought we didn't have any food. Well aren't they going to be surprised at the sanctuary of fruits, vegetables, and water growing underground with no sunlight. Actually, shouldn't Dren and I have been a little more surprised? I mean, we were starving so we were probably a little too excited to notice. Oh well. We walk in and everyone gasps.

"Wow!" They all say together.

"Alright, grab some food and.. well eat it." I say laughing. Dren grabs an apple from a tree and hands it over to me.

"Thanks!" I say, smiling.

"No problem." He says as he grabs on for himself. We stand by the tree for a second, and I start to talk.

"So, now that everyone's here... How are we all gonna get out?" I ask.

"Well... I don't know.." He says.

"Well I guess that's alright.. For now." I say as we walk back towards everyone else.

"Give it back! Its mine!" Kikki shouts. Tarb and Kikki both have their hands on the same apple.. Oh no..

"I had it first! Let go!" Tarb shouts back.

"No! You let go!" Kikki yells.

"Just get another apple!" Tarb says, pulling harder. Wow, all this over an apple.

"No, you get another apple! This ones mine!" Kikki says, pulling the apple out of Tarb's hands.

"Ugh! Fine!" Tarb says giving up. He walks over to a tree, picks an apple, and walks back to Kikki and then they laugh. Haha, they're so cute.

"Wow, they have a weird friendship." Dren whispers to me.

"Yeah, but it's cute." I say. Wesley starts to talk.

"So, does anyone have a plan to get out of here?" He asks.

"Easier said than done." Elliot says.

"We've already looked around quite a bit, and we didn't find any ways out." I say.

"By the way, how long have we been missing?" Dren asks.

"About 3 and a half weeks." Bridget says.q

"Has Dawn been freaking out?" I ask.

"Oh, right! She left a note on your front door. She's in Hawaii. She doesn't know you're missing." Bridget explains.

"Oh, how long is she going to be there?" I ask.

"Well.. About 3 weeks ago I saw the note, and she said a month. A month is almost up, so we should try to get out of here soon." She tells me.

"Oh.. She's gonna be back soon... Yeah! We should find a way out, so when she gets back she doesn't get worried." I say

"Okay!" Bridget says happily. I notice that Sardon isn't listening to the conversation like everyone else. He seems... Worried. I think Dren notices too.

"Hey Sardon, what's your problem?" Dren says, laughing. Sardon seems to snap back to attention.

"Oh! Uh, nothing." He says.

"Okay.." Dren says, not really believing him.

"Guys! Maybe we should search some more! We wanna get out, so lets look around, even more!" Kikki exclaims, jumping up from her seat.

"Well.. We already have, but okay!" I say, jumping up as well. Everyone agrees, and we head out to search some more.
