Changing Perspective -Chapter 8

Chapter 8

I wake up in the dark, and I mean REALLY dark! I can't see a thing. I don't remember anything either. I stand up but I don't think its the best idea to move around when I can't see anything.

"Hello?" I say, not thinking I would get an answer.

"Who's there!?" Someone yells! That voice is quite familiar ... Is that Dren?

"Dren, is that you?" I ask.

"Vanessa?" Dren says, sounding surprised. I'm the one who should be surprised! He actually called me by my name for once.

"Yeah, do you know where we are?" I ask him.

"No, not really.. I don't remember" He says quietly. This is pretty weird... What happened. Where are we.. WAIT!!

"Dren! Did we... fall from somewhere or something?'' I ask him.

"How would I know that if I don't remember?!" He says.

"Oh, I don't know Dren! Jeez, you're not really helping!" I say angrily at him.

"Well, obviously! I can leave whenever I want to! If we fell I can fly out, and if we're trapped I can teleport out! It dosn't matter if I'm not helping, Foxy!" He laughs. Wow! He makes me so mad! Its not like I'm stupid! I know that! Now I'm just a little more freaked out! I hate this guy, like a lot, but at least if he's here I'm not alone trapped in this place. Its really dark still.. I wonder if it will get lighter..

"I know that!" I say, still mad.

''Good! Because I'm leaving!'' He says. GREAT! I'm about to be left alone in... where ever I am! He flies up but for some reason he stops.

''I thought you were leaving!? What's stopping you?'' I ask.

''I-I-I Can't go any higher..'' He stutters. What the hell? Normally he would be gone by now..

''Fine, whatever! I'll just teleport! Bye-bye Foxy!'' He says laughing weakly. He flies down a little, about to teleport but he dosn't leave again.

''What are you doing now!?'' I ask.

''What the hell!!! I can't fly up anymore!! Or teleport!!''

I guess we'll be spending a little more time together. Great.
