Changing Perspective -Chapter 21

Chapter 21

Bridget, Kikki, and I just make it down town in time to see Zoey, Corina, and Renee at the bridge, being held by what looks to be thick, wet vines. When we got closer we realized that it was giant predisite octopus tentacles destroying the bridge, and squeezing our teammates, and it has way more than eight legs

''Zoey, Corina, Renee!!!'' I shout.

''Vanessa, Bridget, Kikki! Destroy this thing!'' Zoey shouts. Yeah, like it would be that easy.

''Come on guys!'' I say as Kikki, Bridget, and I get ready to run.

''Okay!'' They shout, and we run.

''Combat Castanets! Underwater Surge Attack!'' Bridget aims her attack at one of the Predisite's many legs, and it hits, but doesn't seem to do a whole lot.

''Golden Tambourine! Tambourine Trench!!'' Kikki's attack hits the water which causes a wave, that goes over the octopus's massive head, and sort of hits.

''Ember Yo-yo!! Flare Blitz Attack!'' I aim my attack at the legs on the bridge, and the yo-yo wraps around one and the burning part doesn't really work because it's underwater, but the electricity surges through the octopus's leg, making it look gross, and crispy. Corina pulls her arms out of the octopus's grasp, and attacks.

''Heart Arrow!'' She exclaims, aiming her bow at the octopus's face. The arrow sticks into the head, and the octopus makes a horrible sound, swinging its arms even more. It loosens its grasp on Renee and she attacks as well.

''Purple Dagger!'' She shouts and aims into the arm that holds her. It lets her down and she lands on two feet and a hand. Out of no where, Tarb's weapon flies past me, and ties Kikki.

''Taru-Taru, you take this off me now!'' She shouts. He appears on top of the octpus's head, with Sardon beside him.

''Nah! I'd rather mess with ya!'' He laughs.

''Aerial Tempest!'' Sardon shouts, and his attack aims straight at Kikki. Tarb looks down as Sardon attacks, as if he didn't wanna see it hit.

''Kikki!!' I exclaim, and she moves out of the way right on time. I sigh from relief. I look towards her as she loosens Tarb's weapon, and pulls it off of herself. I turn my head just in time, because if I hadn't moved, Dren's Dragon Sword would've gone right through me. I gasp, and see Dren ready to throw his other one. I aim my weapon, about to shoot, but then I stop. What am I doing! Dammit! I just have to do it. It dosn't matter what happened underground anymore. His company, his friendship, that kiss.. None of it matters, because it's not like he cares anyway!

''Flare Blitz Attack!'' I shout, while I aim at Dren, and get his arm. He flinches, preparing for the burning sensation to come, and when it happens, my heart sinks into my stomach. He screams, a very pain filled scream, and I know why. The more emotion I put into the attack, the worse it is. But I can't let that bother me. I have to help my friends, that he, Tarb and Sardon are attacking. I wont let him hurt them.

I turn and run towards Bridget, who is aiming her Tidal Wave Attack at the Predisite. The Predisite gets knocked down, dropping Zoey, and Corina. Zoey lands on her feet, and Corina land on Zoey. After they stand up Corina uses her Heart Arrow, Bridget uses Tidalwave Rush, Kikki uses Tambourine Trench, Renee uses her Purple Dagger, I use my Flare Blitz Attack, and then finally Zoey attacks.

''Strawberry Bell, Full Power!'' She shouts, giving the final blow. The Predesite falls back into the water, and the Alien infuser leaves it's body. Mini Mew flies to it, swallows it whole, and flies back to us.

"You cant beat us, so why do you even try!" Zoey taunts. Dren rolls his eyes, Tarb sticks out his tongue, and Sardon just looks pissed.

"Well we'll just have to keep trying." Sardon smirks. I have had enough. They cannot keep doing this! They won't keep doing this, because we're gonna stop them once and for all!!

"That's it! Flame Shock!" I exclaim. Ah, a new attack. My Ember Yo-yo turns completely on fire, and electricity bounces around it. The yo-yo flies at all three of the Cyniclons, and wraps around them. My attack seems to do quite a bit of damage. The other Mew Mews get ready to retaliate if they attack us, which they do. Tarb throws his weapon, and it wraps Renee and Kikki together. Corina aims her Heart Arrow at Sardon.

"Ice Wind Blast!" Sardon shouts, and his attack blows back Corina's Heart Arrow, but she just keeps shooting them. Bridget runs to Renee and Kikki, and tries to untie them. Its very tight, so it takes a while, but she gets them undone, and they get back into the fight.

"Deep Sea Surge Attack!"

"Purple Dagger!"

"Tambourine Trench!"

"Heart Arrow!"

"Strawberry Bells!"

"Flare Blitz Attack!" We aim our attacks at the Cyniclons, while they counterattack. A Dragon Sword flies past my head again, and I turn to my attacker. Dren is a few feet away, ready to throw his last Dragon Sword.

"Hey Foxy. Guess this is the end of the line." He shrugs, looking anywhere but my eyes.

"Sure is. For you." I exclaim, my eyes stinging. Why are my eyes stinging? Ugh! I won't let anything get in the way! He dosen't care, so why should I? He smirks, and then flies towards me with his Dragon Sword aimed. I toss my yo-yo and it wraps around the sword, but nothing really happens. He keeps flying towards me, and all I can do is try to get out of the way. He crashes straight into me, knocking me to the ground. The blade sticks into the ground next to my face, just missing. He looks at me for a second, but I cant take his lingering gaze. I knock him forward, and he goes off balance. I pull on his arm so he is only on one hand, and then flip, so I'm on him. I don't really know what to do next, so I do the first thing that comes to mind. I slap him. He looks shocked, and I'm shocked that I actually did it. I jump up, and run off to help Bridget.

"Flame Shock!" I shout I blocking Sardon's Aerial Tempest attack when it almost hits Bridget.

"Thanks Nessa!" She smiles.

"No problem!" I smile, dodging another attack. Just as I'm about to hit Tarb with an attack, a loud voice stops everyone.

"Stop! You are useless Sardon, Tarb, Dren." Deep Blue's voice emanates from somewhere to my left. I turn and see a tall Cyniclon, with long black hair, wearing long blue robes.

"Deep Blue." Dren, Sardon, and Tarb all say quietly, but sounding very surprised.

"I've had enough of you, and your failure! You can't even take out a couple girls!? Useless!" Deep Blue exclaims.

"Deep Blue, in ou-" Sardon starts, but Deep Blue cuts him off.

"No excuses! I thought you wanted to help your people!? Yet you won't even take these girls down! Fine, if you can't do it, I'll do it myself!" He shouts, lifting a sword that I hadn't noticed that he had. He looks at me and Bridget.

"And I think I know which ones I'll be taking down first!" He laughs, and then lunges at Bridget and I, sword aimed at Bridget.
