Just so we are clear, I started the last part and this part too without reading Fairest first. I never had the time yet to read Fairest at all. Mostly was because it didn't seem like the right time to read it yet. To be clear, it has literally almost been a year since I started reading the Lunar Chronicle book series by Marissa Meyer. Yeah thats right, while everyone else I know was reading the Divergent series ( I have nothing against it, I just wasn't interested in those books), I was going for the Lunar Chronicles. I know that for some people it's weird, but I truely personally don't give a shit because reading the Lunar Chronicles series was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. Now is when I shut the stars up and let you people enjoy this part.
Cinder was doing some ship inspections before they were going to end up on Luna. It got her to not focus a whole lot on the situation at hand. By situation at hand, it's all this stress and worrying and nerves that are making her very nervous about the fact she is going to fight for a planet that she was born in that she honestly didn't know a lot about. A planet that she was a lost princess for for since she was like three.
It's not only the fact that she is nervous about starting a lunar revolution and all. She also knows that she is just a teenage. A teenage girl who is to young to run a planet. A teenager who didn't have a fair life. Just a teenage cyborg who stuck out of the crowd a lot.
She is checking somethings in the cargo bay while Iko walked in. "Man. it feels great to be able to be a walking android for a change," Iko said.
"You liking your new body?" Cinder asked.
"Yep, you know it. This is the closet I get to being like a human. I might be able to finally where all those clothes and shoes that I admired for years now." She said as she looks at herself.
Cinder looked over at her. "Yeah, when my crazy idea is over and everyone gets to live peacefully, maybe you and I might be able to do some shopping."
"Finally the unimaginable happens." Iko said cheerfully.
Cinder looking at her confused asked, "What?"
"You talking making plans on going shopping, which isn't normal for you, but exciting for me. We could finally wear nice things, though I gotta ask."
"Ask what?"
"Will it be our money or Kai's money?"
"Seriously Iko, it's might be our money, but if he is willing, it could be his money. I'm not gonna take avantage of him, so if he doesn't offer, it will be your's and my money that we will be spending." Cinder trying to make it clear to Iko.
"But it's likely that he's gonna offer, I know because I know how much time you two have been spending together since we left his palace in New Beijing. You two love each other don't you?" Just because Iko asked that, Cinder wishes she could blush.
Since she can't, she stated "Iko, why do you have to ask if the answer is kind of obvious? Yes, I love him and he loves me."
"Do you not realised how lucky you are? You were the lucky one who got to be with him. There are so many opinions for him to go and fall in love with, but you were the one. Before you met him in person at the market, you didn't care about him at all. You weren't a crazy fangirl admired by him, until that day at the market." Iko pointed out.
Cinder was in a complete silence. She didn't know what to say. She thought about it sometimes, but not in the way Iko explained it. It is true, she didn't care a lot about, but she knew a lot about him from Iko, Pearl, the news feeds, the fact that he was the prince of the Eastern Commonwealth, and from . . . Peony.
