Lunar Chronicles Fan-fiction 2 : The revolution

Part 17: Cress

I'm sorry for not updating, but I was on my school's choir trip to San Antonio, TX riding roller coasters and trying to have fun with my choir friends. There has been some things on the trip that has inspired me to write right now. Enjoy this part.

Cress stormed out of the cargo bay after watching and hearing all the things Thorne has said. Questioning what he meant to do in there. Sure it was to help, but did he mean it. Cress hoped not, but she stormed out when she couldn't take it anymore to go to a different room to be alone.

When she found out that the lesson was over, she heard him running after her, but she ignored him because of how horrified she was by him mostly. She doesn't want to talk to him or anything that has to do with him because she is pissed. She just looks forward and went into any room. Problem is that he went inside the room she went into with her.

When she realized that he was in the room with her, she sighed. Then she turned around to face him and slapped him across his face as hard as she could. After she slapped him in the face, he said, "Ow, you are that mad aren't you?"

"I'm not mad, I'm pissed. What the hell was that that you just did?" She asked. Then she cross her arms over her chest and popped her hip. She also gave him a serious face.

"Look, I didn't mean anything I said in there. I was acting. You know you want to be an actress so realize the difference between real and fake, acting and non-acting." He try to straighten thing out between them. It didn't really convince Cress much, so she slapped him across the face again. He then asked, "Why are you slapping me in the face? It hurts!"

She answered, "Giving you a few slaps in the face might help me forgive you. Besides, I think you deserve them."

He stepped forward to touch her cheek. When he reached for her cheek, she slapped his hand off her face. Then he started apologizing, "Look Cress, I didn't mean anything I said in there because you are more beautiful and more for me than Cinder. I find you more attractive than Cinder. So I'm so so sorry for what I did, could you forgive me."

She turned away to think. Then she looked back at him to say, "It will take time, but someday I will forgive you again. For now, I have no idea in the stars what to say, but I sort of forgive you, not fully forgive you."

Just because he was curious, Thorne asked, "I'm ok with that, just one kiss for the captain?"

She shook her head and answered, "No, but I'm ok with a hug."

He then opened his arms out and Cress walked forward enough so they could get into a hug. Cress could tell how warm and nice his body is against her body. Still in the warm nice hug, Thorne said "I will be waiting for the day where you will finally forgive me, but for now I can live with hugging you."

"Ok," Cress said. She's enjoying this like it would be their last, but she hopes that's not true. She hopes that in the future that they would be alive enough for her to forgive him. To finally get this revolution over with and to be alive to where she could finally be happy.
