What followed that steamy cab ride can only be described as slipping into an alternate universe. His eyes, silently telling me that I was all he ever needed. The way his fingers brushed the insides of my thighs until I was panting in anticipation for no one else but him.

The memories of last night would remain with me forever. Images of his head nestled between my legs as he licked the sensitive bundle of nerves that he so effortlessly found. His fingers trailing my skin to clasp my hands as the tightness in my stomach increased with each movement. My desperate pleas for him to be inside of me. All of it was forever ingrained in my mind.

"Morning beautiful." He smiled as he kissed my forehead.

"Morning." I groaned as I snuggled deeper into the crook of his neck.

"You ready to get back to our new home?"

"Yeah, we are going to have to get our stuff moved." I replied.

"Our parents already had movers get all our stuff, they are bringing it tomorrow." He shuffled beside me until he was sitting. "Let's get dressed and then we can get home and figure stuff out."

"Like what?" I asked a little confused.

"It's nothing, I just meant like, us, the future." He said and I decided to drop it.

"Okay, but I'm still getting the big closet." I joked.

"As if I would argue that with you." He smirked before leaning down to peck my lips before jumping up to get ready.

Soon enough we were both in his truck headed to our new apartment in North Carolina. I had opted for piedmont community college, hoping to get my undergrad fairly cheap since I had a scholarship but still had to pay the out of state fees. Austin on the other hand had a full ride to the Univeristy of North Carolina and everything was covered for him.

What really came in handy was that his Aunt owned a restaurant not far from my school, and she had graciously agreed to give me a part time job to help cover the bills at the apartment. Our parents had offered but I wanted to be an adult, something I couldn't do if I was still letting them support me.

When we pulled up several hours later, I excitedly got out the car as Austin led us up to the apartment. It was perfect and ours, and although it was empty, our parents did have the beds moved so at least we had somewhere to sleep.

"So?" Austin said as we sat on the floor in the living room with pizza, "you still want separate rooms or?"

Hmmm. I guess I hadn't thought about that with the rush out relationship had taken. Still, it would be nice to have my own space. I decided to approach it carefully.

"I think that would be best." I spoke softly as his shoulders slumped. "I mean we can still sleep together and cuddle, but I'm going to need the whole closet, and study space. Besides this way we don't have to worry about finding somewhere to go if we fight." I tried to lighten the mood.

"We never fight Anna." He wasn't wrong. "But if that's what you want, that's what we will do."

I leaned over snd kissed his jaw. "Thank you."

"But tonight you're going to sleep in my bed. Ever since our first kiss I've wanted you in my bed in more than a friends way and I'm not going to budge."

"Deal." I smirked, glad that we were over the awkwardness of the conversation.

"Good." He smiled as he got up and began clearing up the pizza box and our cups. "Let's go get some sleep, we got a lot to do tomorrow."

I nodded and followed behind him to his room. Once the door was closed we both settled under the covers as I rested my head on his shoulder.

"Goodnight A. I love you." He kissed my lips gently.

"Love you too." I snuggled into him as his grip tightened.

.....

The next morning we got ready and were pleasantly surprised when not only the movers arrived at the door, but also our parents.

"Mom? Dad?" I couldn't help the grin that spread on my face as I hugged my parents.

"Surprise." They smiled. "Austin it's good to see you, how was your trip?" My mom asked as Austin and I finished hugging our parents.

"It was fun." He smiled.

"I need more than that." His mom said. "With the amount we are covering. What was the best parts?"

I glanced at Austin with a genuine smile, remembering all the things he did for me on that trip. "Well we swam with dolphins, hiked the Hollywood sign, broke down in the literal middle of no where." I started.

"Well what was your favorite part?" My dad interrupted me.

"I know what mine was." He looked at me grinning and i knew what he was referring too because it was my favorite part too, but telling my parents that we decided to have sex with each other didn't seem like it would be the best option.

Instead I stood a little closer to Austin and interlocked our hands as he kissed the side of my head the way he had done many times before.

"Actually, I think the best part was that, erm" I looked at our parents expectant faces, "the best part was that I got to spend time with my best friend, well boyfriend now, on an unforgettable adventure." I kissed Austin's cheek as a look of shock appeared on all of our parents faces.

"Did you say boyfriend? As in you're dating now?" My father asked.

"I thought you were just friends?" Austin's dad added in a disapproving tone.

"We were, but we both realized that we wanted more than that, that we wanted to see if we could be more." Austin explained. "None of Anna's boyfriends have ever worked because of me, and I haven't been close to anyone but Anna since Molly died." He managed to choke out. "I know we said we would only ever be friends, but I've always loved Anna, this trip just made me realize that I was in love with her too."

My mom hugged him, his mom hugged me and both our dads grimaced and looked at each other as if they we silently speaking to each other.

"How is that going to work with you living together?" His dad suddenly blurted.

"We are still having separate rooms. There's no way I'm sharing my closet. You don't have to worry, seriously we just started dating and we are going to be taking things slow while we figure out if this can work when school starts."

"Fine." His dad huffed as I glanced at my dad who had a fake smile and pained expression on his face.

"You're like another kid to me Austin, but if you hurt my baby..."

"I won't hurt her. Ever." Austin interrupted.

"You better not." Dad replied.

"Let's get you unpacked." Austin's mom announced. "Before this conversation crosses a line."

Thus we kept up the illusion that we would be sleeping separately and that this was still new.

What they didn't know wouldn't hurt them right?
