We had spent a whole week in our new apartment, and thanks to our parents who stayed with us for a couple days we were completely unpacked. School officially started on Monday and since it was the last Saturday we had before college Austin had decided that we needed to go out and celebrate.I usually enjoyed parties, well when the thought of molly would hit me and I needed to drown the memories out. Alcohol always had a way of making everything seem so irrelevant, so minuscule that I actually managed to relax. Besides, I had the knowledge that Austin was always going to be there to protect me.
Tonight we were going to a club in Charlotte known for college kids. From the student email Austin had received it was supposed to be the first get together, a way to get to know people you may not meet on campus.
I opted for a sparkly little spaghetti strap dress that cut off above my middle thigh, then I straightened my hair and put on some makeup.
"Wow." He breathed as he pulled me into his arms and kissed my lips delicately. "You look amazing."
"Thanks, so do you." I smiled taking in the navy blue T-shirt and blue jeans he was wearing.
"Let's just stay in." He breathed kissing the back of my neck.
"Austin!" I giggled turning to face him. "This is our last night out before classes, I want you to meet some friends and have fun. I want to dance with you and show you off to all your future classmates." I grinned.
"Fine." He rolled his eyes with a smile as we exited my bedroom and grabbed his keys from the counter. Then we headed to the club.
We walked into the club named SERJ. Neon lights glowing over the dance floor and bar in a way that casted a dim hue across the room.
It was packed, full of other college kids who were preparing to start the semester. Those over twenty one were given wristbands while the rest of us weren't, the clubs way of ensuring they didn't serve to minors.
"Sorry." Someone apologized as they bumped me from behind.
"Dude!" Austin yelled sternly, "that's my girlfriend."
The guy turned around in his slick leather jacket and eyed us both curiously. I watched as he scanned Austin before turning his gaze on me and my dress.
"Sorry man." He turned his focus back to Austin. "I'm Cole, freshman on the football team." He said holding his hand out.
Austin took a second to breathe before he shook his hand "Austin, here for baseball. This is my Girlfriend Anna. She's going to Piedmont community college."
"Gotcha, well it's nice to meet you both, maybe I'll see you in the dorms?" Cole smiled, his perfect teeth glistening in the glow of the strobe lights.
"I doubt that, we have an apartment off campus, maybe I'll see you around though?"
"Sure thing." He said before walking off.
"Sorry," Austin said, apparently the people here are different to back home.
"Don't worry about it. All I needed back home was you, and that's all I need now." I smiled kissing his cheek. "Come on, dance with me." I laced our fingers and pulled him out of the dance floor.
I turned my back to his front as his hands settled on my waist and I began to move my hips against him. I could feel his fingers gripping my waist tighter as I circled my hips against his crotch.
"You're so fucking perfect." His voice was a gruff whisper over the loud club music, but nonetheless I turned around to face him with a knowing smile on my face.
