We left around eight thirty am which thankfully let us arrive in Niagara Falls New York just before six since I had to stop to pee a few times. It was worth being slightly sleep deprived when we drove past the Niagara river, the sheer size and beauty of the Falls coming into view as Austin pulled into the Seneca Niagara resort and Casino which towered above us.

"Austin can we even stay here? We're not old enough to be in a Casino." I muttered as the Valet took his truck to park it.

"Anna stop worrying. We aren't going on the Casino Floors so it should be fine." He said before confidently striding to the front desk and requesting a room from the bubbly blonde.

They stood talking for a minute, her face serious and it was obvious that working in a casino had done wonders for giving her a bulletproof poker face. She glanced over at me, tucking a blonde curly tendril behind her ear before saying something to Austin I couldn't hear.

"She said we can stay, but we can't go on any of the floors that have a C before the number. Those are the Casino floors." He explained when I shot him a confused stare as he pulled me to the elevator.

"Works for me." I grinned following behind him.

The blinds in the room were already closed but the room was spectacular. Two of the walls were completely glass, while the bed was positioned so that it looked out of both windows overlooking the Niagara river and one of the falls.

In the middle of the room was a jetted tub facing the TV and a couch set off to the side. The bathroom boasted a stand up shower and double sink and honestly most of this trip had been like living out of a dream. I just hoped our parents could afford it.

After he ordered Room service we cuddled up to wait for the food as I eyeballed the jetted tub in front of me.

"I know what we are doing after we eat." The shit eating grin on his face had my stomach tumbling all over itself as I met his eyes and realized exactly what he was insinuating.

Thankfully I didn't have time to say anything as a knock on the door pulled us both to the room service being delivered. Then, as we sat on the couch eating the fries and burgers I realized that maybe I had been wrong about Austin.

As I studied him as he ate, I remembered that Molly had always had a knack for seeing things before they came. Like the time she knew that Austin would join our group before we even knew him. I think, I'm a way, she knew she was going to die, and that's why she asked me to make that promise in the first place.

But maybe it wasn't how I had assumed it to be. Maybe she wanted me and Austin to find happiness with each other. Looking at him right now I could imagine her wanting anything less for either of us. We made each other happy and that's all she ever wanted, wasn't it?

Unfortunately the more I thought about molly the harder it became for me to relax with Austin. Truth was I would never know what she meant because she wouldn't tell me.

He filled the tub after we ate and while I had been excited at first, now my head and heart were at war with each other on whether this was right or wrong.

I sank down into the tub in front of Austin and let the pressure from the jets and warm water soothe my aching muscles. I leaned back into him as his arms encompassed me and he kissed my cheek.

"This is perfect." He whispered and there wasn't a single reason I could think of to make me disagree with that.

"Yes it is." I smiled to myself.

We laid there for a while until the water began to get cold at which time Austin got out and wrapped a towel around himself before helping me out into my own towel. Once we were dressed we laid down in the big bed until the sunrise peeked through the blinds and we were ready for our next adventure. The falls.

Austin took us both to a dock where we took pictures in front of the giant cascading waterfalls. It was strange to think that just across the river was Canada. Still when he pulled me to the boats I shook my head.

"No... Austin!" I squealed "I've seen videos of these boat tours and I don't wanna get wet."

"Come on Anna, live a little. It will be fun!" He pleaded before leaning down to suck that sweet spot on my neck.

My brain went fuzzy for a while and he said something else, yet all I could focus on was his lips.

"Yes." I breathed.

"Perfect." He smiled kissing my cheek and pulling back, let's go."

"What?" I asked as he just laughed and pulled me to the ticket booth.

We were given some waterproof disposable ponchos and ushered onto a small boat and the look on Austin's face clearly showed he was enjoying this, my face however, was set in a pout. How had my mind been so distracted by his lips that it would agree to this?

The boat gradually made its way closer and closer to the falls, and as beautiful as it was, the cold mist and difference in climate here had me cold. Austin instinctively wrapped his arm around me as we got so close to the falls that I knew it was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Water continued to soak us as I started laughing and looked up at him. "Thank you for making me do this."

"I knew you'd kick yourself if you didn't." He grinned as he pulled out his phone. "Come on picture time." He held his phone up as some lady walked up and offered to take our pictures.

We took one smiling before Austin pulled my face to his and kissed me as water cascaded behind us and all over us while I tried not to laugh. We got his phone back and shortly after we were back on dry land, only the ponchos did little to keep us dry.

We hit the observation deck for lunch once we were dry, taking in the beautiful views and scenery as we ate in one of the most beautiful places I had ever been.

Soon after we were back at the hotel getting changed and ready to hit the road to New York City .

Everything was perfect but I had realized somewhere between the boat and the restaurant that I was starting to really fall for my best friend. The entire concept exciting and also terrifying.

It was easy enough to tell ourselves that if this didn't work we would stay friends, but the feeling in my chest told me that it would be much, much harder than that.
