Masky's P.O.V:

All of a sudden, I felt crushed. My oxygen cutting off and my heart racing. Really, it seemed more like one of those dreams where you get that falling sensation, but this was real. My eyes snapped open, and there were arms around my neck, bruising grip that made it hard to breathe. I gasped slightly and tried to gently pry his grip from me, he must be having a nightmare.
"Ahhh~" He moaned softly. Okay, not a nightmare... I quickly slipped out of bed and pulled on some loose track pants, a t-shirt to follow, then my mask. I was going to go have some breakfast while Toby was sleeping, and change when he wakes up.

"Toby?" I knock on the bathroom door, "You done in there? I got somethin' to ask you." Silence. "It's important." The click of the lock rang out, the door creaking open, Toby stepping out in just a towel.
"What is it Masky?" He mumbled out, shaking the water droplets from his hair with his hand.
"I was... Wondering if uh... You'd like to... Go out? To the town, we could grab lunch?" I was staring at the floor the whole time, he let out a small laugh,
"Are you asking me on a date, Masky?" I looked up at him for a few seconds,  frowning,
"What changed?" I whispered. He cocked his head and let out a 'huh?' I sighed, "You never call me by my name anymore... Just that stupid nickname I was forced into taking." His expression turned into one of shock,
"O-Oh... I'm so-orry... I didn't k-know you felt that way..." I shook my head and grabbed his chin softly, kissing his partly open lips.
"It's okay... So?" He smirked and wrapped his arms around my neck,
"Well, I can't exactly turn down a date from my baby can I?" I rolled my eyes with a grin and pushed him away, only for him to hug me again, this time lovingly.
"I don't get you." I stated, he looked up in a confused manner. "You go from apologetic to flirty to touchy-feely in the span of a minute." Toby laughed,
"Because I'm too awesome to stay in one mood for too long." He joked, a serious expression suddenly crossing his face, "Shit, I need to go get fresh clothes... I can't just walk out of here in a towel, what if someone sees?" I shrugged, walking to the door,
"Be right back."

Toby's P.O.V:

Masky had just finished getting dressed, and I had 'borrowed' one of Smile's collars and a leash, getting Lyra to co-operate was harder than it seemed but I managed. Masky and I had both decided to wear different clothes to avoid suspicion from anyone who may know about Creepypasta, it felt wierd not to have my goggles on. Masky cleared his throat and I looked up, he was wearing a plain black t-shirt and jeans,
"We goin' or what?" He grinned, I stood up from the bed and gently tugged on the lead, Lyra following close behind. We didn't dare to breathe until we reached the outer layer of the forest, for fear someone who didn't know would find and question us. As we slipped through the trees and into the quiet streets of the almost abandoned estate, Masky turned to me,
"Obviously you can't call me Masky here, so try to remember that, 'kay?" I nodded and followed him through the maze of alleyways until we reached a busy highstreet. "What do you want for lunch?"... Oh yeah, I forgot this was a date...
"I-I do-on't mind..." I stuttered quietly, trying my hardest not to twitch or do anything embarrassing. He nodded and took the leash from me, gently slipping his hand into mine and intertwining our fingers, I began to blush heavily. I had to almost jog to keep up with his brisk pace, and I kept looking around nervously, feeling eyes burning through me. We suddenly stopped at a small building and Masky tied Lyra up outside. He was being extremely gentlemanly, holding the door open for me and pulling out my chair, it made me blush each time,
"Order whatever you want, I'm paying." I smiled nervously,
"That's exactly the reason I don't want to order whatever I want." He chuckled,
"Don't worry 'bout it, okay?"

"Excuse me?" We were brought out of our conversation by a girl about my age, she was staring at us with an unknown enthusiasm, I noticed she had a camera around her neck. "Are you guys a couple?" My face flushed bright red, but Masky grinned, grabbing my hand from over the table,
"Course." The girl let out a small squeal, I tried to hide my face with my free hand, this was too embarrassing... I felt the girls' eyes on me, hell I wouldn't be surprised if the whole restaurant was looking at me.
"He's a little shy." Masky cooed, "We've just got together, y'see." This did not help. We'll see who's shy when I pull you into an alleyway and decapitate you...
"Aw god you guys are so adorable. Hey, are you coming to the party?" We both looked up in confusion. "Oh, you don't know? It's the forests centenary and we're throwing a huge party. The focus is actually midnight cause it's tomorrow but eh, it's basically a new years thing." I was about to say something when Masky interrupted me,
"Sure thing."...
If I was joking about decapitating him, I'm sure as fuck not now...
