Masky's P.O.V:

Ah, Christmas... I fucking hate it. Everyone was sitting around the fireplace drinking hot drinks, and I was slouched against the wall in the far corner of the room, reading a book through my mask. It was kind of hard to see with the black ink that outlined my vision, but I got on with it. A shrill 'ding' caught everyone's attention,

"Dinner's ready!" Jane exclaimed, making a cheer erupt from everyone, everyone but me. Every year at dinner Sally asks me to take my mask of and every year I refuse. I wear it for a reason, but that kid won't bloody learn. Heaving a sigh I snapped my book shut and stood up, trailing into the kitchen after everyone else, and taking a seat near the people I hate the least.

"C'mon, C'mon!" Sally exclaimed, running out of the door and into the blanket of white snow, perfectly untouched. It made a picturesque scene as it fell on the trees and everything that lay in its' path, the sun shining brightly through the inconsistency of the leaves. Times like this I wish I had a camera. "I wanna build the biggest snowman!" oh no... "Let it gooooo, it gooooo! Can't hold it back any more!" I groaned,

"If I haven't heard this over two thousand times..." I muttered sharply to myself, kicking the trunk of a tree. Seconds later, a small pile of snow came cascading down, yeah, it sounds majestic but... Not when it lands directly on your head, making you overbalance and nearly slip on the ice next to you. When I finally stood up to my full height, I stuffed my hands in my pockets and hung my head, my hair falling over my mask, thinking about all those years before that I spent locked in my room, scared to come out in fear that the man I'm now working for would get me... Oh sweet, sweet irony. A sharp pain spread throughout my lower back, "Agh! Fuck!" I growled out, spinning around in an instant, a glare burning through the cold weather. A laugh danced into my ears, as my eyes caught hold of the teenager a few metres away from me I couldn't help but smile. Toby had his eyes closed, laughing so much he could hardly breathe, I would've thought he'd be cold... Before my mind could catch up with my actions, I had a snowball in my hands, chucking it back at him and he slipped... Maybe everything wasn't so unhappy after all.

"Come on, everyone! Time to get presents!" The girls yelled out, earning a smile from the bunch of killers, hah... We all trudged inside, tugging off boots, coats and scarves, gathering around the tree. Sally was the person who got the most out of everyone, she's mainly the reason we still celebrate.

"Toby." He teen looked up, his face pale, his nose red and lips purple.

"Me?" Jack nodded, handing him a carefully wrapped box. Toby looked genuinely shocked, mouth shaped in a perfect 'O'

"Go on. Open it." He laughed. With trembling hands he teared at the paper, opening the cardboard box that followed.

"O-Oh my god... T-Thanks, Jack! I haven't had a proper Christmas in years, and the fact that someone cared about me enough to give me a gift is just..." He trailed off, jumping up and hugging E.J, I peered into the box to see a shit ton of CD's. I huffed, feeling jealous all of a sudden. I stood up and grabbed Toby's hood, pulling him out into the hall and slamming the living room door.

"I'll fucking show you a present." I growled out, snatching up his wrists with a single hand and pushing him back further into the wall.

"M-Masky... W-What are you doing?!" His eyes widened, with my off-hand I pulled down his mouth-guard and yanked off my mask, staring into his eyes,

"Something I know I won't regret." I leaned in, kissing Toby slowly and softly, bringing him closer to me by his belt loops, his hands slid into my hair. I felt eyes on me but shook it off; I was too lost in his soft lips. When we pulled away for air I let out a groan. Yeah, I'd had my fair share in kisses but this one was different... For once it felt like love, like someone liked me back and not because of my looks or for pity... I picked him up, and he looked at me with his big brown innocent eyes,
