Masky's P.O.V:
I opened my eyes to hear a faint sound, with a groan I rolled over and pulled my pillow over my head. After a while, curiousity got the best of me and I stood up, pulling on my shirt and mask and walking out into the hall. The sound was quiet, but I managed to trace it to Toby's room. I put my ear to the door.
"Just give me a pen and I’ll write my worries
Now and again I’ll try and not see that you don’t care
Taking the time to taste and savour
Life’s bitter wine and childish behaviour
But you don’t care
And hey, I don’t speak that language of youth
And hey, oh not the one that speaks truth
And hey, I lay in this world for a while
When all is lost just smile
They’ve written the dates and the times to follow
See all the fakes that look so hollow
But you don’t care
What ever happened to the youth and culture?
Wear chains and the same fecking Lonsdale jumper
So you don’t care
And hey, I don’t speak that language of youth
And hey, oh not the one that speaks truth
And hey, I lay in this world for a while
When all is lost just smile"I chuckled and shook my head, walking back to my room and flopping down on the bed. The tune was catchy, and I began to hum it. Toby was a good singer.
Toby's P.O.V:
With a sigh I brought my knees up to my chest and rested my head on them. I found it hard to smile now... Not that I ever used to. I went downstairs and retraced the halls to Slenderman's office, knocking on the door and twitching slightly. The doors seemingly opened by themselves and I stepped in nervously. "H-Hullo, Sir. I-Is there anything you need doing?" He shook his head. Guess he can't speak by himself. Hoodie tiptoed past outside but stopped in the centre of the doorway, completely motionless.
"No. Your next training session is next week. However, could you take these up for Masky?" The voice echoed, sir pointing at a few papers and a folder. I shivered, Slenderman being controlled by Hoodie is pretty creepy. I think Hoodie was trying to sneak past so he wouldn't have to... I nodded and picked up the paper, Hoodie falling down next to me with a groan. He muttered a few cusses under his breath and I quickly exited the room, making sure not to get lost or bump into anyone. Once I was up the stairs I kicked Masky's door. What? My hands are full! There was a thump from inside and the door opened, revealing my co-worker. His hair was messy and his mask was slanted, he was only wearing a vest top and boxers. I looked away instantly.
"I-I-Is this a b-bad time?" I asked nervously, he shook his head.
"Nah-" Cut off by a yawn he stretched slightly, "What's up?" Before I knew it I was pulled into the dimly lit room, I shuffled from foot to foot in an uncomfortable fashion.
"S-Sir... Wanted me to uh... Give you these." I stuttered out, holding out the paper. God, something about him made me so nervous... And kind of mad because of it. His displayed lips curving into a grin. I noticed he had a little bit of a beard.
"M'kay..." He hummed, taking the files off me and chucking them down on his bed, "So... How're you settlin' in?" I shrugged,
"Okay... I guess." He smirked,
"Heard you singin' earlier." My eyes widened beneath my goggles and I looked at the floor.
"Y-Yeah?" My face was bright red. He laughed lightly.
"Don't worry 'bout it. You're quite good. It was cute-..." He cut himself off, and it was his turn to be embarrassed... Not like I wasn't... It was just awkward now... Neither of us made eye contact or spoke. "Uh... S-So... You got a proxy name yet?" He questioned lamely. My shoulder began to twitch so I rubbed it slightly.
"Y-Yeah... Ticci Toby." I stated.
"...Cool... I guess..."
