"Thorin!" Fili shouted catching sight of him in the grasp of the eagle. Gently the eagles placed us down on top of a rock. I ran straight to Thorin's unconscious.
"Durs en nistafa." I whispered softly closing me and moving my hand over his forehead I could feel the elvish healing magic starting to work. A gasp signified the fact that Thorin had woken. I stood up and backed away knowing he would prefer to be with his kin than with an elf.
"The Halfling and the Elf." Thorin whispered.
"It's alright, they are both here." Gandalf replied. "And quite safe." Bilbo let out as sigh. Thorin started to get up and with the help of Dwalin and Kili he did so. Before long he was moving toward Bilbo and I.
"You." He said harshly pointing at me. "Are a different matter in itself 'elf', I will speak of you later." Bowing my head in respect I moved back.
"And you." Thorin hissed looking directly at Bilbo. "What were you doing? You nearly got yourself killed. Did I not say you would be a burden? That you would not survive in the wild?" Thorin started to advance towards Bilbo and he started to back off.

"That you had no place amongst us?" Bilbo looked down. "I have never been so wrong in all my life." Thorin said as he hugged Bilbo warmly. I could almost see the shock clear on Bilbo's face. Soon Thorin turned to look at me.
"Many of my kin think it was unwise for Darwin to have trusted an elf with his life so many times." Thorin stated. "And they were right, but you are not just any elf. And you have put your life on the line for me and I would trust you to the end of the world." I swallowed shocked and surprised. Thorin bowed his head to me and I bowed mine back.

"I am sorry I doubted the both of you." He said and we both just smiled. The eagles flew past us and back the way they had come but Thorin's gaze moved past Bilbo and I and out to the land that lay before us. I turned to look and saw the Lonely Mountain.
"Is that what I think it is?" Bilbo questioned.
"Erebor." I announced. "The Lonely Mountain."
"The last of the great dwarf kingdoms of middle earth." I turned to look at Fili as he said this. He smiled at me, and I couldn't believe it. Our lips were pressed together in a second. Cheering started among the dwarves as we broke apart smiling our foreheads pressed together.
"I seem to have fallen in love with you Torien." Fili whispered softly.
"Likewise." I whispered back.
