CHAPTER 16

LISA'S POV

"Okay I think I'm understanding this now," Chaeyoung said nodding her head

Finally, it's been...one whole hour

"Okay good. Do you know where the bathroom is?" I asked Chaeyoung. She pointed to a door that was in a corner on the other side of the room

I then noticed I would have to walk by Jennie's table to get there

I mentally sighed and got up, pushed in my chair, and headed for the bathroom. I immediately caught their attention at the table Jennie was sitting at

"Guys look it's the weirdo," some guy said sitting at the table in the booth

"Hey just so you know, you use the girl's bathroom...or are you a guy because from the looks of it" he added looking me up and down

"You could probably pull it off. You kind of look like one" he continued being a jerk. I just kept walking by them ignoring them, until I opened the door to the bathroom

I walked into the stall and started peeing. When I was finished I walked out and started washing my hands, but looked at myself in the mirror

I don't look like a guy

"Stop stressing, you don't look like a guy. He was just being a douche" I looked over and saw Jennie standing by me at a sink

"I know I don't" I snapped back

She stood there sighing as she got annoyed with my comment

Once I was done washing my hands I turned to face Jennie, who was fixing up her makeup

"Jennie, can I just say-"

"No! I don't want to hear your apology! I know you don't mean it!" Jennie yelled

I stood there looking at her while she was breathing heavily

"I just trying to say you're in front of the paper towels, I'm trying to get to, but why would I apologize?" I asked

She crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. "Of course you were. See you around" she said as she stormed out of the bathroom

I'm pretty sure I think I did something wrong again. But what?

I grabbed a handful of paper towels and dried my hands disposed of the trash and also left the bathroom, but this time when I walked by that table. I felt a foot trip me. Again?

"Watch where you're walking! You nearly scuffed up my shoes" a different guy from the group said

I looked at his shoes, which were dirty already, then back at him

"They're already disgusting," I said bluntly

He got up looking down at me. "What did you say?!"

"Are your ears dirty too? I said there disgusting" I answered bluntly once again

He was reaching down to grab me but was stopped. "Don't you dare lay a hand on her!" Chaeyoung threatened as she smacked the guy's hand away

"I see your girlfriend came to fight for you" he laughed

"Yeah, so what? If I do I'll end up kicking your ass" Chaeyoung snapped

The guy by this point was angry now and fixing to do something, but Steven stopped it. "Okay, that's enough, Duce. She's not worth it. And besides, you don't want to start a fight that leads to you breaking things in a store you would end up having to pay for, right?"

Duce sat down. "I guess you're right"

Steven looked at me with a serious look. "Beat it weirdo"

I took a glance at Jennie who just sat there looking at the table not saying anything

"Come on Lisa. Let's get out of here" Chaeyoung said as she helped me to my feet

We turned around and went back to our table to gather our things then left the coffee place

"That was intense" Chaeyoung sighed laughing a bit, as I was driving down the road

"Yeah, but I'm used to it"

"You know it's not a good thing to be used to bullying. One day you're going to have to stand up for yourself" she replied

"Yeah, but I don't feel like it"

She looked at me and then smiled. "I have an idea"

I looked at her then back at the road

I wonder what she's planning?

"Do you like amusement parks?" She asked

"Yeah, but I always found them boring" I answered

"That's because you weren't with the right people. So clear your list for Saturday, because we're going to have fun!" She exclaimed excitedly

Should I tell her I've never had fun? Well except now and then with Jennie, but we quit talking. Oh well she'll find out herself on Saturday
