CHAPTER 42

JENNIE'S POV

"So as you can see class, if you don't mind, please stop throwing your papers on the ground and throw them in the trash can. That would be much appreciated" Mr. Lee said. "Also if you could also-"

Gosh he can talk about the most random things for hours and then only spend like 15 minutes talking about what we're supposed to be learning, but either way, I wouldn't pay attention and only think about the one thing I care about the most...my Lisa

"Why must you continue doing this after I told you a million times to not stare at me?" The nerdy girl said looking at me while pushing up her glasses

I rolled my eyes, "Sorry-"

I sat there mind blanking

What was her name?

"What's your name by the way?" I asked

She raised an eyebrow, "It's Kim Jisoo. Why do you want to know?"

"I was just wondering because we've been sitting next to each other all year and I didn't know your name"

She gave me a look. "Really? My name has been mentioned dozens of times in this class"

I guess I never noticed because I never care to pay attention. "Well anyways, sorry Jisoo for staring. I just have a lot on my mind"

"Obviously and I know exactly who you're thinking so much about"

"I can't help it, I just love her so much" I groaned causing everyone to stare our way

"Is everything all right Ms. Jennie Kim?" Mr. Lee asked

"What? Oh yeah, everything's dandy. Just go back to teaching" I said. He smiled awkwardly and continued his lecture

"Could you please not cause that much attention again? It's so annoying when people stare at you with judgy eyes" Jisoo said glaring at everyone probably judging them too

I just smiled. "I'll try but I can't make any promises"

"Okay now if you don't mind leaving me alone and looking at the other and stop talking to me, so I can get back to listening to the teacher," She said sitting up straight while pushing up her glasses and staring back at the front of the class again

I sat there still staring at her, which was very entertaining. She would practically write down everything the teacher said and when she would think hard about something she could scrunch up her nose and then nod her head once she was done

The class bell rang and everyone began getting up and leaving, but to no surprise, a few of the students threw their paper wads by the trash can

Wow-what a jerks

I turned around and saw Jisoo going to leave but I  stopped her. "Hey if you're not busy, wanna sit with me and my friends at lunch?" I asked

She raised an eyebrow then widened her eyes. "Nope! I'm not falling for that trick again"

"What trick?" I asked while following her out of the room

"Last time someone asked me to sit with them, they took me behind the school, pushed me down, and stole a month's work of my homework"

Dang she was that far ahead

"Luckily I had a copy of all of it. Anyways I'm gonna eat lunch by myself"

"Nah you're coming with me," I said holding her hand and practically dragging her behind me

She sighed. "Has anyone told you how big of a pest you can be?"

I smiled. "All the time, but I don't mind"

We got outside and I began my search for Lisa and Chaeng, yuck. I stopped them of course sitting up by Lisa's favorite tree. Still holding Jisoo's hand, I led her up the hill to the other two

"Hey, Lisayah!" I shouted cheerfully. She looked up fixing to say something but stopped when she saw Jisoo then looked down at our hands

Oh yeah I'm still holding her hand

I was going to let go that is until I saw her make this look I nearly missed

Oh my gosh! She's jealous!

Instead of saying anything she looked back down and continued her sketching

"Who is this you probably kidnapped?" Chaeyoung asked staring at me with a questionable look

I sat down and motioned Jisoo to sit with me. "This is Jisoo and Jisoo this is Chaeyoung and-"

"Lisa," Jisoo said cutting me off. "Yeah, I know who this is. I've met her once and not only that, but you talk about her nonstop. It's so annoying" she added while getting her lunch out of her bag

Lisa looked up again. "Why are you with Jennie?"

Jisoo took a bite of her sandwich and looked at her, "I had no choice, she just dragged me here for some reason"

"I had my reasons" I spoke up. "I just thought you were beautiful and decided that you should hang with me and my friends"

Jisoo pushed up her glasses and looked at me. "Wait what?" Lisa looked at me with the same questionable face

"You heard me, I just thought you were beautiful and wanted to hang out with you," I said poking her nose and taking a bite out of her sandwich

I glanced over at Lisa, who was staring holes into Jisoo

Yup she is jealous, but that's what she gets for being a meany head to me

Lisa shook her head and continued sketching again. I smiled then looked back at Jisoo who was looking at me and Lisa then rolled her eyes

"It's nice you finally found someone to smother, so you can quit doing it to my girlfriend," Chaeyoung said while leaning over to kiss Lisa on the cheek, but to my surprise, Lisa pulled her into a kiss instead

Oh yeah, two can play at this game!

I looked at Jisoo who sat there eating her sandwich and watching the two kissings. "Don't even think about it" she said pushing up her glasses

How did she know what I was gonna do?

"Hey, can you two oblivious dumb stop that? I'm trying to eat" Jisoo said

They both stopped and looked at her. "What do you mean by oblivious? And we're not dumb dumb" Chaeyoung said

"Whatever" Jisoo replied as she kept eating. I looked at her mentally smiled because I knew what she meant when she called them oblivious

I mean it's obvious I like Lisa and that Lisa likes me, but like Jisoo said. They're too oblivious to see that themselves

"Stop staring at her and smiling like an idiot" Lisa spoke up

I'm surprised she said that

"It's okay. She does this all the time in class"

"Yeah, Lali just let her stare at Jisoo. I mean at least you won't have to worry about her staring at you now" Chaeyoung said

Lisa glanced my way then looked back down at her sketchbook. "You're right"
