LISA'S POV
"So what's the difference between a neuron and an electron again?" Chaeyoung asked me
Does she have to be kidding? This is baby work
I just sighed. "Let's stop here for now. It looks like you're going to pull all your hair out, from being stressed too much, because you're using your brain"
Chaeyoung glared. "I am not"
We began gathering our things up and got up to leave the coffee shop when she stopped me
"Hey, so I got this text invitation from another friend of mine, who's on the softball team, saying there's some kind of sleepover at her house tomorrow night and only girls are invited. I guess it's somewhat of a girl's night"
I stared at her. "Why do I care?"
"Well, it says I get to bring a guest, 'cause you know the more the merrier, and I was wondering if you wanted to go?" She asked looking at me with pleading eyes
I looked at her with a blank face. "No" and turned around and walked out of the building
She ran up to me and stopped me
"Please come on, it'll be fun"
"No"
I got in my car buckled up and started it. I watched as the passenger door opened and watched Chaeyoung getting in still begging
"Please?"
"No"
She continued to ask me every two minutes and finally, once I got to her house, feeling like I'm going crazy I agreed to go, just so she would shut up
She smiled. "I knew you couldn't say no" I looked at her with utter annoyance
"See you tomorrow, weirdo" she shut the door and went inside her house. I sighed and drove off
"Is that all you brought?" She asked pointing to my small backpack
"Yeah, all I brought was a nightgown and toothbrush. What else do I need?"
"You know a change of clothes, underwear, hairbrush, and everything else" she shrugged
"I don't have a plan on staying there that long. I've been thinking about leaving in the morning or even tonight"
"You're no fun"
We got out of the car and walked up to the softball players house, whose name is Joy
What a joyful name
Chaeyoung knocked on the door and immediately the door swung open
"Hey, Chipmunk" Joy smiled at her. She then turned her attention to me, her face dropping. "Oh I see you invited her"
Chaeyoung grabbed my arm and dragged us inside, walking past her. "Yeah you did say I could bring a guest"
"I guess I did. Well follow me to my room then" she began leading us upstairs into her room and when she opened the door I felt out of place
There were nearly about fifteen girls in her room, eighteen countings us three
"Okay it seems like everyone's here," Joy said sitting on her bed and motioning us to sit somewhere
"Wait I invited another person" A girl spoke up. I took a good look at her and noticed who it was. She was the one who tripped me during the race
"Hey, guys I'm here. Sorry I'm late" All the girls including me turn around and saw Jennie walking into the room
"Okay, so now that everyone's here, including an unsuspected guest," she said looking at me along with all the other girls
"Let's go ahead and get this party started!" She got up off her bed then bent over and started pulling boxes and bottles of liquor out from under her bed
All the girls started cheering and grabbing bottles
My first sleepover...I'm gonna regret this
