LISA'S POV
"I told you, you should've brought a change of clothes," Chaeyoung said poking me. "Now you stuck wearing Joy's clothes, which is kind of baggy on you" she added messing with my shirt but quitting when she realized she was irritating me
"Like I said I didn't expect to even stay the night" I replied feeling sick while holding my head. "I blame you for this" she just laughed
"Why aren't you feeling sick? And what exactly happened last night after we got back from the bridge?" I asked
"It's a long story. I'll tell you at lunch" she said. "I'll see you until then" she then kissed my cheek. Something she's never done and left
It feels weird when someone else, other than Jennie, does that
"Okay tell me now," I said impatiently while sitting down
"Fine let me sit down first" Chaeyoung laughed
I watched her put her to try and bag down, get situated, and sit sitting. "So where should I begin?" She asked thinking
"I'll start the part when you started drinking beer, right after your first one"
I did that
She talked about the whole night and all I could do was think about how stupid I was, after hearing the things I did and what everyone else did
"So to make things short. You pretty much got super drunk, mainly because you're a lightweight. You and some other girls took shots, swam in the pool in the back of Joy's house, threw up, drank some more, and then you started getting touchy-feely with me" Chaeyoung said blushing. "But then after a few minutes, you passed out, on a sleeping Jennie"
"I decided to go to sleep too, so I laid in bed right next to you. Make sure you were alright"
After she was done talking, I looked at her. "I guess I'm an idiot now"
Chaeyoung laughed. "No, not even close. You just had a little too much to drink. But other than that, you did have fun and laugh" she smiled holding my hands. I looked at her hands than mine and back up at her
"I think I want to give this a try," I said without thinking and looked at her, but she was too busy poking the mystery food on her tray
"Are you sure? This food looks kinda questionable to me" she replied looking at me with a raised brow
"You're an idiot"
She furrowed her brows then looked down at her one hand still holding mine and immediately blushed and let go
"Oh okay...umm I mean if you want we can give this a go. I'm perfectly fine with it" She said while clearing up her voice trying to act cool. She's a horrible actor. I may have trouble reading people sometimes, but I can tell when someone's acting or not
"Okay, so what now?" I asked. "I've never done this before"
Chaeyoung sat there thinking. "How about we go on a date, this Friday?" She smiled
"Okay" I agreed calmly, which caused Chaeyoung to smile big
"Hey guys, so what are we talking about?" I and Chaeyoung both looked up and saw Jennie sitting down across from us at the table
"We were just-"
"We were talking about our date this Friday, since I and Lisa are together now," Chaeyoung said straightforward tone. I could feel her eyes on me
It feels uncomfortable
"So why are you sitting next to us all of a sudden?" Chaeyoung asked changing the topic
"Wel,l I and Lisa talked and sorted things out at the sleepover last night. So now we're friends again" Jennie replied smiling smugly at Chaeyoung
"Oh, you did? You didn't tell me that" Chaeyoung asked looking at me
"I forgot" I answered while eating my apple, not caring about the conversation
"Okay so I'll pick you up at 6 p.m. tomorrow," Chaeyoung said while she was getting out of my car
So she's going to drive?
She shut the car door and walked inside her house. I turned facing in front of me and started my drive home
A date? Never thought I would be going on me
I pulled into my house 10 minutes later and walked inside
"Hey honey, how was school today?" My mom asked me from the kitchen
"It was okay. Just like any other day" I answered as I put my things down and sat on the couch to watch TV
"I have a date tomorrow by the way" I added in a mindless tone
I heard my mom drop dishes possibly breaking one then heard my dad running from his work office to me. They stood in front of me, blocking my view of the TV smiling
"Who's the lucky guy?" My mom asked
"He better not be a thug," My dad said putting his two senses in
"It's not a guy. I'm going on a date with Chaeyoung" I sighed. "Now can you move?"
They stood there not saying anything. "Well honey no matter who you date or marry in the future we'll still love and support you" I looked at them not understanding what they meant
"Okay. Now can you move?" My parents just smiled at each other then they both gave me a hug
"Our daughter is growing up too quick"
"That she is"
