LISA'S POV
"I can't wait until Saturday! We're gonna have so much fun!" Chaeyoung was a little too excited as she was skipping down the hall
"I can wait" I sighed as I got to my locker to put my books up and grab my bag and keys to leave for home
Chaeyoung slowed down to walk by my side. "Why are you always so negative?"
"It's just the way I'm weird" I answered
"Well rewire yourself to turn that blank face into a smile," she said stopping me and messing with my face trying to make me smile, but I slapped her hands away
She stopped what she was doing. "Sorry, it was worth a shot" she smiled and shrugged her shoulders. I just looked at her and continued walking out of the school
We got outside and I stood at the top of the stairs hunting for my car parked in the parking lot with hundreds of other cars
But like every other time my eyes stopped on Jennie who was now pushed up against the truck, I'm assuming Steven's truck, making out with him. The worst part is they're right across from my car
"Hey how come you always stare at...what's her face?" Chaeyoung asked making a face while looking at them
"I don't know what you're talking about" I replied while I headed towards my car
"Yes, you do. So what? Was she your friend or...girlfriend?" She asked while poking me
I hit her fingers away and turned to look at her annoyed
"If you must know, she was an old friend of mine, you could say, who had a huge crush on me, saying she was gonna marry me in the future, which was weird, but we got in an argument and now she hates me and she is with him" I answered pointing to Steven as we stopped at my car
"Oh," she said looking at the ground thinking. "So what I'm hearing is that she was your girlfriend" she added looking at me smiling
That's not at all what I said
I just looked at her not saying a word, when someone said something for me. "Hey what're you pointing at me, weirdo?" I turned and looked and saw Steven and Jennie looking at me
"She wasn't pointing at you. She was pointing at your truck. It has a scratch on it" Chaeyoung lied
Steven turned around quickly freaking out and started hunting for the scratch
It was kinda funny
Chaeyoung and I stood there smiling and smirking at his stupidity
"So what? Is she your new girlfriend now or what?" I looked at Chaeyoung who looked at me and looked down at Jennie
"No, she's-"
"I am. You got a problem with that?" I looked at Chaeyoung
What is she saying? And why is she saying this?
I averted my eyes back to Jennie who looked taken aback but shook it off. "No it's fine with me" she replied, while her voice was breaking
"Okay cool, so if you don't mind leaving us alone, we have a date to get ready for on Saturday" Chaeyoung smirked as she walked to my car and got in the passenger's seat
I looked at Jennie once again and didn't say anything. "Come on Lis, let's go" I soon looked away and got in the car, started it, and drove off
"That was a lot of fun" Chaeyoung laughed
"Your fun is pretty weird"
"Yeah, but now you know Jennie still likes you because she was mega jealous" she laughed again
She was jealous?
"I don't care," I said bluntly
"Sure just keep telling yourself that" she smirked while poking me, but I slapped her hand away
SATURDAY
Saturday already?
I thought to myself as I checked my calendar. "Well at least I don't have to go to therapy anymore"
"You're right, but you do have to get up and get ready for your little trip to the fair because it's 2 o'clock," My mom said as she stood at my door looking at me with a stern face
I didn't even realize I slept that long
I got up, doing my normal routine, by using the bathroom and Red watching me, then got dressed and went to eat lunch
"Have a great day at the fair, okay?" My mom said as she waved goodbye to me as I walked out the door to the passenger seat of Chaeyoung's car. I'm sure I won't
"Be back before 12:30!" My mom yelled
"She will!" Chaeyoung yelled back while waving. She rolled up the window and began driving the 1 hour trip to the fair that was outside of town by the lake
"Let's have some fun!" Chaeyoung smiled as she stepped on the gas to go a little faster
