Part 9 - Tsundere Tsunami

Most of you probably knows this by now but tsunderes are people, majority are girls, with a very complex attitude. They're all sweet and caring on the inside but since they suck at expressing their feelings, outside, a lot sees them as walking torture objects. Especially around their crushes.

Tsunderes are extremely popular in animé, mostly in romance genre. I think only moe shows don't have those much.

Okay, I have a lot of issues with tsunderes. No, I don't hate them because I can totally relate with their attitude. I just don't use a chainsaw to cut my crush in half. A punch in the stomach is as far as I can get. Okay maybe I choke em sometimes when they start joking that I like them, but it's just so that they don't hit the spot.

Anyway, I'll just be complaining about the cliché things Tsunderes are associated with.

JUST LIKE HOW THEY'RE ALL MOTHERFUCKING IRONMAN

You know what I'm talking about. They go around with superhuman strength and superhuman everything else and may I remind you that they're just high school girls.

Some are even pro wrestlers WTF they haven't even attended wrestling class like wow nice.

I don't even know how to attack someone without accidentally punching myself.

That's why many people fear them because they have ridiculous speed and power.

And if they're not experts in hand-to-hand combat, I'll warn you, that girl has a gun somewhere around her.

By the way, have you noticed that tsunderes are inclined to have small boobs? I mean, not all of them but hell there are a lot!

If you haven't realized it yet, then back up girl and reminisce.

That's right, name each tsundere you know and remember some of their problems.

Minami (Baka to Test Shoukanjuu).

Sakura (Naruto).

Taiga (Toradora).

Misaki (Kaichou wa Maid-sama).

Niche (Letter Bee).

Haruna (Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?)

And hell there are a lot of others but I've forgotten their name but I know what they look like, doh.

I would like to make y'all realize that tsunderes are often described to be tomboyish. Okay, there are waaay more characters who are, well, average but let's not ignore the ones who are seen as 'one of the boys' by their fucking oblivious crushes.

Also, I'm sorry but I cannot agree that Taiga Aisaka (Toradora) is the queen of tsunderes because (1.) she's even barely one and (2.) Tsugumi (Nisekoi) should be the queen.

Yes, Taiga possesses the physical qualities of a tsundere because she's strong and has a flat chest. But mentally? It's true that she's violent around Ryuji but remember that she only sees him as a brother-like figure. Of course, soon that will change but she's been like that the moment they met so she's not being mean to hide her feelings.

Like, she confessed to Ryuji's best friend before - or at least tried to - and that is very untsundere like.

Tsugumi, on the other half, my dear Black Tiger (What is it with tsunderes and tigers?!) may not have the flat-chest quality, but damn, she just nailed the test for the tsundere mentality.

Remember when someone asked her what she does when she likes someone? And her answer is that she'll hide it from everyone until her feelings go away? Now, that, is first class tsundere.

Someone who is so weak in expressing their emotions that they'd rather not try to.

Not sure if that will change later in the manga, we'll see.

Don't forget that she's also an expert not only in hand-to-hand combat but also in weaponry. Like, no wat r u doing in a romance comedy u should be in Girls und Panzer cuz that show lacks boys and at least u look like one damn.

I've already discussed my issue with them about the word 'baka', but I just have to make more examples. XD By the way, for those who don't know, baka means idiot. Just in case you are more into the dubbed.

"BAKA! WHY ARE YOU HERE?! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL YOURSELF?!"
