ARTEMIS' POV
I was having a great time watching the sea. The blue sky matched the color of our clear blue sea, I can't wait to swim there later. For now, I want to relax sitting up here while drinking my champagne.
"Oh my gosh, Vedezma just spent her vacation in Paris!" Cornelia screamed while checking her phone. I just rolled my eyes.
"She did not!" Leyna said in disbelief and checked her phone too.
"Come on! She just got the money from her daddy!" Kiena said while closing her eyes.
They're talking about Sindie Vedezma, the campus nerd and softie girl. I don't know what's their problem with her. Naiirita lang daw sila sa babae na iyon dahil napakapabebe para mapansin ng boys. They're just insecure bitches.
I didn't have any choice but to have friends with them. I had a bad experience with my social life. All of my old friends were so plastic and traitors. Some of them just wanted my money and of course, my cousin Hadrian Levinson.
Let's give an example with these girls right now, we just met 2 months ago. Well, I admit that they're really fun to be with not until they show their real color. They're insecure, jealous and fame-thirst girls.
I don't want to be alone, I don't want to be the "Artemis Levinson, the rich bitch lonely girl." That must be so irritating.
So I gave them a chance. If they just wanted my money, then go. Bahala sila sa buhay nila. I am rich naman, I was born to get what I want.
"Hey, watch out! Will you?!" I was startled when Cornelia shouted at one of my cousin's employees.
The fear flashed to the poor girl's eyes. She was shaking her hands while bowing her hand. I just rolled my eyes and let out a sigh.
"S-sorry, Ma'am!"
"Sorry? Do you know how much is this? This is a Prada bag! Expensive than your life!" Cornelia stood up while her hands on her waist.
"S-sorry--"
"Just go." I said to the girl. She shifted her gaze to me. I raised my brow, what is she still doing?
"Do you want to lose your job?" I gritted my teeth. My friends smirked.
"N-no, ma'am please..."
"Then go! What are you still standing for?" I hissed. Mabilis naman siya yumuko at tumakbo paalis.
I just closed my eyes before I leaned against my seat.
"You should've fired her na lang, Artemis." Leyna said while reading her magazine. I ignored her.
"Yeah! Dapat ang mga tanga ay nawawalan ng trabaho agad--"
"Do you own this place?" I stared at them coldly. Binaba ko kaunti ang shades ko para samaan sila ng tingin. Natigilan sila at napatikom ang bibig.
"No?"
"Good, so shut your mouth." I said and watched the sea again.
Hindi na sila nagsalita pa. Maybe they got the signal. I stopped drinking my champagne when I saw a group of people laughing from afar. I raised my brow. They're the only group of people who are loud right now! Do they not know the word, manners?
The blank-faced woman standing in front of her friends caught my attention. I felt a strange feeling while staring at her full body. There's something about her that feels off. Her aura seems not normal. It's strong and was not in disguise.
Napabalikwas ako ng bangon nang mapagtanto ang kanyang aura. Even though she had shades that covered her eyes, I know she's still one of us. She's a genius huh? Alam niyang marami kaming tulad niya kaya nagsuot siya ng shades to avoid eye connection.
