(two weeks later or however long it takes for the flowers to grow)
"Hey y/n!" Emma said running towards the table where you were playing chess with Norman (He has a long streak of wins against you You two are currently going 0 and 582. Him going undefeated of course)
"Y/n! Come, Ray showed me how to make flower crowns!" Emma said with a huge smile
"Hey Norman I'm going to go with Emma, sorry we can play later" you said
"No it's fine you go, ill clean up" Norman said with a small smile, Then Emma grabbed y/n wrist and ran outside
"Hey, Emma you know I can run to!" y/n yelled still getting dragged along by Emma "I know But, we're almost there!" she yelled back. sigh
"Hey ray! I brought y/n! teach her how to make flower crowns too!" Emma said happily
"Sure," Ray said
Time skip
"Hey Jake!" y/n said with a smile, she was held a rainbow flower crown proudly
"Hm?" Jake said he was putting up the sheets to dry
"Look what I made for you!" y/n held up the one flower crown she had made
"I made it rainbow!" y/n said smiling
"Oooh" Jake said looking at the crown
"That's really pretty! Can I put it on?" He said
"Sure!" Y/n said proudly and handed Jake the flower crown
"I love it!" Jake said with a smile while he put it on
"Who taught you how to make these?" Jake asked
"Ray! He read it from a book!" Y/n said with an even bigger smile than before.
Time skip (dinner time)
All the kids washed their hands and sat at the table y/n sat next to Emma Jake was sitting across the table from her
"Thanks for the food!" everyone said in unison. Then, they dug in
"Ok everyone I have an announcement, a nice family has decided to adopt Jake and he will be picked up tomorrow night!" Mom said with a smile
"Yay!" Y/n felt her smile get wider and wider
"Jake you're going to be adopted!" y/n said happily with a wide smile. for some reason Jake didn't seem too happy about it in fact, he looked almost terrified
"Jake?" Y/n said worried
"Did you hear Mom? your getting adopted!" y/n said
"Y-yeah" Jake forced a smile
"I'm g-getting adopted," He said his voice shaking
