Third-person POV
It has been 1 year since y/n had started hanging out with "the group" (Ray, Norman and Emma) and Jake.
Since the day Y/n and Jake met, you have gotten closer and closer, hanging out and playing every day.
"Ok kids! Grab one of these smocks so your clothes don't get dirty, we're going to do some gardening!" an adult with black hair pulled up in a bun said sweetly, and the children obeyed.
"Mom! can you help me put this on?" I tiny girl with h/l h/c hair said
"sure Y/n" the adult said smiling
"can you help me too?" an orange hair girl said holding it up soon, a bunch of kids started to surround the adult asking for her to help
"Yeah of course just wait your turn ok?" the adult called "Mom," said with a smile.
In the background, two boys were putting on their own smock one with black hair covering one eye and the other one with white hair, who was smiling at the two girls that had asked the adult for help.
"Hey, Jake can you help the younger kids put on their smocks?" Their mom asked while putting on a younger girl's smock
"Yeah, sure!" then a yellow-haired boy ran off to go help, the other kids.
Y/n's POV (after everyone got their smocks on)
"Ok now ill pass out to everyone a pack of flower seeds and you will have to put the seeds in the holes I dug, then take some of the soil and put it in the hole with seeds and make sure all the seeds are covered." mom said, with each instruction, she said, as she did the children watched intently
"ok mom!" a bunch of cheery voices responded I was standing with Emma on my right, Norman on my left and Ray next to Emma
"We're going to have a huge flower field!" Emma said happily
"Yeah" you smiled
"Of course, they dug the holes beforehand they wouldn't want to give kids shovels..." Ray grumbled
"hm?" Emma asked Ray,
"What did you say?"
Mom went around handing out seeds and asking what colour they wanted.
Finally, mom reached us
"What colour do you guys want?" mom asked sweetly while showing all the colours she had, Blue, Yellow, purple, red, pink, orange and green "Yellow!" Emma said,
"I'll have the green"
(or if you'd prefer another colour you can choose)
"Can I have blue?" Norman said "purple." Ray said then mom handed us each colour we asked for.
Timeskip
"Phew! that was fun," Emma said with a smile
"Yea," y/n said smiling back at Emma, you stared at the dirt scattered on her face and held back a laugh
"mhm," Ray said not really paying attention because he had his nose in a book,
"What the heck how did you get a book already!?" you questioned, it had only been a few minutes since you and everyone else finished planting the flowers.
"You didn't see me bring it out?" Ray said with a smirk
"No! you like hide it behind your back so we don't see or something!" then Ray burst out in laughter
"Pffft- Idiot!"
"Hmph! I'm going to go talk to jake!" You stomped off to Jake,
"Hey y/n! what colour did you choose for your flowers?" He asked with a wide smile,
"Green, what about you?" You responded, still slightly raging from Ray's rude remarks
"I choose the orange," he said with a smile
"Mom how long does it take for the flowers to grow?" a kid that was behind Jake asked,
"I think it takes about 2 weeks. But in that time we got to remember to water them!" Mom said while she picked up the child. two weeks huh...
