Y/n's Pov

Two more days to go, sometime around 5 am

Ray and Emma were extremely tired, and you were as well, although pulling all-nighters was a regular thing.
You always volunteer for night watch, since Emma probably couldn't handle the little sleep both you and Ray have been getting.
You all had agreed to wake each other when it was their turn to take over so the next person could sleep, but you couldn't care less. So, you let them sleep.

You let out a long sigh as you remembered what had happened last night while you were keeping watch,

You frowned as you saw a gross 10-legged beetle-looking thing crawl on your leg,
"eww," You said as you flicked it off into the distance, one of the bad things about staying out here... 

Flashback

"Ughhh" 
You let out a yawn and looked around, the moon was bright today and the air was warm, tonight was a nice night. Super peaceful, but that only made you want to fall asleep more.

You sat slumped against a large tree near the cave you all had been sleeping. Well, all but that old man. He always ran off somewhere else to sleep.

Your eyes drooped and you went in and out of slumber,

"Ugh... no... gotta stay up..."

After saying that you heard a noise behind you, that made you jolt up, you grabbed your spear and held it in your dominant hand.

"Huh?" You said in a quiet voice as you look behind you.
"Thought you'd never notice me," The black haired boy said in a sly tone,

"Oh. It's just you." You said letting out a relieved sigh as you put down your weapon,
"Was it just me or did I just catch you falling asleep?" He said sitting beside you

"It was just you!" You said in slight frustration,
"Beside! If I was that tired I would go ask one of you guys to take over."

"Sure, Sure," Ray said looking off into the distance

...

"So... are you going to ask me to take over yet?" He said expectantly 

"No. Go back to bed." You said in a forceful tone,
"No," Ray said,

"You."

"Go, Ray. It's my job for the night," 
"It's been your day for the past two! Come on, it's my turn" 

"No. I'm staying here" 

Ray let out a sigh,

"No your not." As he said that he tried to grab you by the wrist and pull you to your bed.
Sadly, for him, you had the upper hand. All you had to do was make your body limp and just stay sitting.

"Ugh, stop being so stubborn  Y/n." He said and bonked you on the head,
You didn't respond, you just continued staring off into the pitch-black darkness.

"Fine then, I'll just join you." He said and sat down.

In a matter of minutes, he fell asleep, leaning on your shoulder.

Although you were happy that he had finally fell asleep again, after what at just happened, he deserved this. Grabbing a lady like that? How dare he.

You then preceded to push him off your shoulder onto the hard gross ground.

"Ughhh..." He said but he seem too tired to care, so he just fell back asleep.
So much for joining me. You thought as you got up to grab his blanket from his bed since you didn't want to even him yours that you were using yourself, as you did you caught a glimpse of Emma sleeping peacefully, laying in her bed.
How cute.
