♛ Chapter 28 - Surviving ♛

Y/n's POV

"Emma, Is this the right direction?" Don asked looking back at us "Yeah!" She yelled back with a smile, we could see her breath in the cold air.

"But we've gone a bit off course while we were underground," Emma said looking off into the distance with a slightly worried look and she pulled out the pen and opened it to show the projector-ish thing now reading B 00-15
"I see. so that code represents our current location, huh," Ray said looking over Emma's shoulder to see it "Both B 06-32 and  B 00-15 show us where we are... in other words, they're kind of like coordinates," Ray said and continued "The numbers must be some indication of the direction we're headed in... Wait..." Ray said a paused for a bit "Right now, we're at area B 06-32... in other words, we're headed south within the eastern portions of the plane this thing is based off."

"YOU'RE FREAKY! HOW COULD YOU FIGURE IT OUT SO FA- OH MY GOD!" Emma yelled taking a jump back. True he was pretty fast but... "I mean... when you think about it, it's pretty simple," You said with a little laugh
"When I first looked at this projection back at the house, it was just a plain 00-00 with no letter," Emma said, the pen still in her hand.

"I see. so right now, we're basically directly east of the house. And since it was B 01-14 before, we must've gone back a little north since then." Ray Said
"So... how did you, Emma figure out that this was our location? How did you even figure out that Mr.Minerva is at area B 06-32?" Ray said

Emma didn't answer the suddenly, "Here." Emma said holding out the pen towards both you and
"Norman said that we'd figure it out if we looked at the pen. If not, he said that you would definitely be able to understand." Emma explained, "...which means you couldn't figure it out, huh?" Ray asked. You stared at the hologram, the owl identical to the ones on the books... wait, books. The books had morse code so... Y/n stared at the lines around the owl, It was morse code as well! You looked closely at the hologram and read the morse code, T-O-U-C-H-M-E. touch me... Y/n did as it said and touched it,

FUUUZ

The screen changed the owl at the top, this time the circle was full so there was no chance that it was morse code. under that, there was some sort of code to the bottom of that, it looked like some sort of box it looked like you could type into it.
"I got up to that screen." Emma said watching us, "I suppose you are pretty bad at this kind of stuff," Ray said looking towards Emma.

"Oh! Wait! I get it!" you yelled "Emma, Ray the other book put of the two that stood out... The one with no morse code on the logo. That book is out key to this pen." You said "Our key?" Emma asked "That's right" Y/n answered "Look. You can see the same morse code-less logo here, right? In other words, we need to see this book to find the passwords for this pen." Y/n said and grabbed the book that she was talking about  "The 3-18-02 is a code. we'll be led to the next plane if we enter the correct password... So for this, if we look at page 13, line18, word 2..." Y/n said still making it out in her head as she spoke, she flipped through the book "Human." She said and typed it into the hologram,

FUUUZ

The hologram switched again into some sort of a note "Come to me if you need help. I am waiting in area B 06-32. William Minerva!" Emma readout. "A message from him!" Emma yelled out, her face expressing joy. "Norman must've seen this. and so for the nest password..." Y/n said and flipped through the book again, "Rinse and repeat-" 

THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP

The loud sounds of footsteps interrupted Y/n, Ray closed the pen which shut off the hologram Y/n had been writing on "Hey Ray... Y/n..." Emma said, "Yeah something coming." Ray confirmed the loud footsteps along with the vibrations coming closer, Y/n turned around "RUN!!!!!!!!!" You yelled at the top of your lungs, a demon was chasing us. Y/n had only looked at it for a second before Y/n and everyone else ran but, Y/n could tell that that demon was ready to eat us.
