When Miley finished her story, Nellyda deeply sighed and faced the guy and the girl she didn't have a clue of their identity.
"The boy is Victor, the girl is Daniella, the guy that was killed earlier this evening was Josh." Miley whispered to her with her voice slightly faltering at killed. She was now afraid of that word after what she had witnessed.
"Are both of them related to Josh?" Nellyda took her eyes from the people infront of her to Miley with a creased, worried face.
"No. But both of them are siblings." She shrugged sadly and picked up her bowl. Instinctively, Nellyda held her hand to stop her from standing up and Miley looked at her with utter confusion.
"Miley, you need to rest." She took the bowl from Miley and nodded for her to sit and smiled when Miley relaxed.
Miley watched her friend go round with a wry smile, taking the bowls from the others with a heavy heart. She arranged them on the tray she kept at the corner of the room and left silently.
That was the last thing Miley wanted to see in her friend when she came back. Sorrow. She wanted her to be happy. Now that she had learnt about this 'Muzan' creature, everything wasn't going how things would have gone. Why is she not even staying with her parents?

Midway down the stairs, Nellyda stopped and cringed at the disturbing noise her stomach made and the internal hollow she felt after. Then she ran down the stairs. She needed to eat something...
And fast. She got to the kitchen and abruptly dropped the tray on the kitchen counter, burst open the fridge and searching wildly for something. Then she spotted a pancake mix...
In the fridge?¿
But she was too hungry to be thinking why a pancake mix was in the fridge.
She emptied some of its contents into a bowl adding the other moist ingredients that weren't in the box like eggs and water and most importantly, Pepper. Just the way she liked it.She also had a thing for making exactly three pancakes in all the mixture she's done because that was... well, maybe enough for her.
Pouring the water made her remember the amount of blood that was spilled just some hours ago and how gloomy the whole house was.
Maybe this was how everyone was drained in every possible way one could be drained.
But in her own case, she was drained in both emotions and energy. Mostly in the aspect of energy. Food.
Now her thoughts were drawn back to that creature she now sensed to be a demon. As far as the Bible was concerned, demons wouldn't take any human to consideration the way that demon took her and the others into consideration. And he only did that when she came back. For a few seconds, she felt flattered. But receiving that from a demon? It just died down the way it came up.
Some of the mix spilling on her hand brought her back to Earth.
At least I didn't add much water.
She lit the cooker and placed a pan on it, then she poured just the right amount of oil.
"Ow! Fudge cookies!" She yelped once her toes made a shockingly hard contact with the marble counter. She moved back on her good foot and hissed at the discomfort. She tried to endure the pain and took the bowl off the counter and too the cooker, all while limping.
"I thought you had already eaten." She froze when she heard someone speak from the direction of the stairs but she didn't turn to know who it was because she already knew. She just kept silent, pouring some of the batter into the pan and using her index finger to clean the part that she poured it from.
She dropped the bowl beside her and looked up in the cupboards for a fish slice.
