Chapter 11.

"I didn't give you a formal introduction. I'm Luka. I'm a vampire and I'm Nel's ex boyfriend." Luka said with his hands in his pockets and an unpleasant smirk. His entire skin was pale with dark circles under his eyes and blue lips.

Xavier knew that demons hated vampires. But then, he didn't know why because he hadn't seen one before. Now that he has, he wished not to come in contact with more. This particular one was a terrible sight to behold. Very repulsive to the touch and sight.

Luka went to sit next to him and Xavier shifted uncomfortably.

"If I wanted to kill you, I would have done so a long time, buddy." Luka slurred while he looked round the house and tsked at its unkempt state. Xavier eyed him.

I didn't bid you come in...

And I didn't offer for you to sit on my couch.

"Too bad I only show my good manners in your house, demon king. Not like that is even my priority." Luka snickered and Xavier was already to weary of him.

What the fuck are you even doing here?

Luka ignored the question.

"She got pretty angry, right? My girl's a tiger. Sexy and aggressive." Lukas smile was one of nostalgia before he gave a mocking one to Xavier who just deadpanned.

Please shut up. You're irritating.

"Now to answer your earlier question. I am her to annul the effect of the emotional equilibrium you are trying to establish with my girlfriend." Luka gave him a really serious face and Xavi just rolled his eyes.

"Point of correction, ex girlfriend. And I have no interest whatsoever in your ex." Xavier snapped back and deadpanned at his choice of English.

You think I'm gonna give you a thumbs up for listening in chemistry class?

"You might as well have." Luka said and rolled his eyes. "It would be easy for you, I and Kane if the both of you just back of. She's mine." Luka looked deranged and Xavier's eyes involuntarily dimmed.

I am the wrongest person you should be talking to about this sort of thing.

"Once again, Luka. I have no interest whatsoever in your ex girlfriend. Now leave my house. We're done with the chit chat." Xavier turned to him and tried shooting him away but...

This is pointless.

"Oh Xavi, Xavi, Xavi. I'm here to stay in your house. And besides, Grandma Yolly will be so glad to meet me again." Luka gave a closed eye smile and Xavi creased his brows.

"First, you asked me to kill you. Next, you make a grand entrance into my house and tell me you're here to stay. Then,you want to make me take you to a Yola's house..." He spoke as though his life was falling spa. Luka gave him a blank stare and a stupid smile.
Xavier felt like stabbing something. Luka was soo frustrating, he felt like breaking his head again. He wondered how Nel even managed to date someone as disgusting and repulsive as this creature.
How old was he anyway?

"...All That's happened is too much for just three months." Xavi groaned and ran his hand through his hair. Everything was too much to take in. He needed to know more demon life coping skills or he might die of work overload.

"Oh demon king. It seems like you might have lost track of time since yesterday. It's the first of July." Luka chuckled and stood up with a grin.

"Did you just come here to make my life hell?" Xavier growled, balling his fists and trying to keep his temper in check.
