"SHUT UP."

"No way."

"What?" John B, Kie, and JJ say all together.

Ariella walks next to Pope, following his line of sight, her eyes spotting the boat.

"No, guys. He's serious. There's a boat down there. For real."

"Holy shit, they're right. Let's go." Kie says, taking off her shirt, with John B and Ariella following suit.

"You think there's a dead body down there?" Pope asks, but his friends ignore him and jump into the water.

"Get your ass in here, Pope!" Ariella shouts.

"Come on!" John B echoes after her.

Pope reluctantly pulls off his shirt and finally jumped in.

The group of teens all swam down to the white boat.

Ariella immediately noticed it looked like the one she saw yesterday.

She swam down further to get a better look inside, but her time was cut short.

JJ taps her and points up.

Ari nods and took his hand, swimming back up to their boat.

"You guys saw that, right?" JJ questions, once they came up for air.

"Yeah." Pope answers him.

"Yeah, we did."

"That's a Grady-White." Ariella informs them, a bit fascinated.

"A new one of those is like 500 Gs, easy." JJ adds as they all swam back to their boat. "That's a primo rig."

The Maybank climbs onto the boat first before turning to help Ari up.

"Yeah. That's the boat I saw when I surfed the surge." Ariella says, pulling her hair out of the bun and letting it loose.

"I saw it too. Maybe it hit the jetty or something." John B faces Ari, who nods in agreement.

"You both surfed the surge?" Kie glances between John B and Ari with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah. Well... Ari did." John B says, putting his arm around her shoulders.

"That's my girl. Pogue style." JJ high-fives Ari and then places a tender kiss on her forehead, making her blush.

Every little thing he did made her blush, and she couldn't stop it.

The way his touch lingered, the warmth in his eyes, it all sent shivers down her spine.

"Wait, wait. Do we know whose boat that is?" Pope asks frantically, his eyes wide with concern.

"No, but we're going to find out. Aren't we, JB?"

Ariella got up from her seat and bent down next to John B, helping him pull something out from under the seat.

The determination in her eyes mirrors John B's, a silent promise to uncover the mystery.

"That's quite right, Ari." John B replies, his voice steady as he works alongside her.

"Dudes, it's too deep." JJ warns, glancing nervously at the water's dark depths.

"Oh, come on, J. Have some faith." Ariella turns to him with a big grin that made his heart melt.

The spark in her eyes was infectious, and JJ couldn't help but smile back.

"Exactly. Only for the weak and feeble, JJ." John B adds, as he and Ari pull up an anchor, the metal clinking against the boat's edge.
