𝗠𝘆 𝗘𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗲 ⇉ 𝗝𝗝 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗸

"So, what happened to princess over there?" John B nods his head towards Ari who was currently sleeping on the boat, her legs tucked into her chest. "Did you do something JJ?"

"Nah man." JJ shakes his head. "I would never hurt her. Especially after I made that promise to you."

"So, then what's going on?" John B questions. "I could tell there was something off yesterday before I even actually came in contact with her. When she was on your back."

"I think she's sick." Pope pipes in. "When we were in Limbrey's she was pale and she was talking about how bad her body was aching and all that. Then in the car, she said she was dizzy. Didn't stop her from being badass though. It's probably stress."

John B chuckles and nods slowly taking in everything that was just said. He looks over at the girl softly. His eyes widen just a bit as a thought comes into his mind, analyzing everything he was just told. JJ notices.

"What? What's wrong?" JJ asks. "You know something?"

"No." John B says immediately. "No, uh, we should go help the girls look for something to eat and feed Ari. Maybe...maybe that's what she needs."

"No need." Sarah announces as she walks toward them, Kie behind her. "We're here."

"We found berries, watermelon and something else we don't know." Kie holds up the fruits in her arms.

"I'll go wake her up." JJ gets up and walks onto the boat. He bends down to where the girl was on the floor and he gently places a hand on her cheek, rubbing his thumb on her cheekbone softly. "Ari, baby. Time to wake up."

Ari let's out a small groan as she leans into JJ's hand unconsciously. JJ smiles down at her before he picks her up bridal style, making her let out a tired squeal. She wraps her arms around JJ's neck holding onto him tightly. "JJ!"

JJ gives her an innocent smile as he leads them out the boat and to where their friends were eating on them laughing at the sight. "There's food, baby. Food! We haven't ate anything in a while."

"Yeah, we're gonna grub on some fruit!" John B holds up a watermelon in his hands. Ari shakes her head amusingly.

JJ goes to put the girl down, but she doesn't let go of him. JJ sighs and sits down with the girl on her lap making her smile widely. JJ chuckles and kisses her nose. "You're lucky I love you."

"I like to think so." Ari replies and goes to eat a piece of watermelon until a wave of nausea hits her. She quickly gets up and off JJ, running far enough away from the group before vomiting into the bushes.

"Ari!" Both JJ and John B call to her standing up. John B passes JJ tissue, the boy takes them and rushes over to his girlfriend.

Ari has been slowly following her current symptoms, connecting the dots. She has a few ideas of what she thinks is wrong with her.

"I'm okay." Ari grunts allowing JJ to clean her face off. "I'm okay."

"You're not okay." JJ shakes his head tying the girls loose hair back. "Grab the fruit guys and let's head home."

"Lets head home, everyone." John B cheers trying to brighten up the mood which he successfully did. John B and Ari shared a little look before he walked over to Ari lifting her up in the air and taking her to the boat.

"John B, man, be careful!" JJ exclaims following the two with a small smile on his lips. "She's fragile right now!"

"I am not!"

"There she is." John B says in a soft and sweet tone as he stares at his forever home. The Chateau. He wraps an arm around Ari who was in between both him and JJ, the girl
not wanting to move from both her boy's side which was understandable.
