It had been three days since you'd come back. It felt weird sitting around and not doing anything. At the moment you were doing your physically therapy to help some movement come back to your body without it hurting so bad. However a lot of the exercises required someone to help you, so in that aspect you were pretty much screwed.

"Y/N-San how're you doing?" You we're in a stretching position, bending forward with your hands on your bent knees, and your upper body leaning over them. Making your butt really stick out. When you looked over your shoulder, the young Captain was blushing like crazy. "Oh um, I'm sorry." A small flush made its way up to your ears but you shrugged it off. Trying to go to a full standing position hurt. Your wince made you pain obvious.

"Just trying to do my daily PT."

"Did you need help? I noticed some of those exercises used another person to assist you with. Or did you already have someone to help you with those." He looked genuinely concerned, and seemed authentic in his willingness to help you. In truth you had been avoiding him even more than usual, ever since he caused that slight smile to slip past your  lips, you'd been wary of him. Afraid that staying near him, would cause you to become closer. Leading to only more heartache.

"This next one I could." He smiled, took off his "Justice" jacket, and stood in front of you. That smile still on his face. "I need you to grab my wrists, and pull on them to help me stretch. Then once I am as far as I can handle you'll slowly move my arms up and down while pulling on them. I need to do this one for 5 minutes. Or however long I can handle."

"Understood." He came to stand in front of you, and held out his hands. Standing in front of him you noticed how much taller he was than you, and how big his hands were. When you placed yours on top of his, they radiated heat. "Your hands are cold Y/N-San."

"I'm the Ghost Doctor, what did you expect?"

"Hahahaha I guess that's true."

Feeling the warmth spread through your hands, and the strength he held in them made you think about your brother. He also always had warm hands, on the days it snowed on your island he used to hold your hands the same way to keep them warm all night and help you sleep.

"Y/N-san?" Okay apparently you spaced out. You shook your head.

"It's nothing this one hurts the most, lets get it done."

"O-Okay. Like this?" He tugged gently and evenly, it still hurt but it was supposed to help you in the long run.

"Y-yes."

After 15 minutes of finishing the rest of your physical therapy-which Captain Koby had convinced you to let him help with the rest-you were thoroughly sore all over and just wanted to go to the baths and sauna on the ship to help loosen every joint and muscle in your body.

"Um Y/N-san...uh I was wondering would you like to uh, come off ship with me? We'll be shipping out next week and we won't get another opportunity to hang out except on the ship, it would make me really happy if you could come out." He had slight pink on his cheeks, almost matching the color of his hair. He was scratching his cheek, and smiling while avoiding eye contact.

He's nervous, he doesn't want to pressure me into doing something I don't want to do. Today seems like an important day for him too. If I wasn't so sore maybe I would. Wait what?

If you weren't sore you would? When the hell had that part of your thought process changed?

"Well um I'm sore, and I don't make for good company."

"Says who?" You raised a brow at him and gestured to the space around you.

"Everyone Captain sir."
