Freya's POV:-

You know whenever we are inside a car and its raining hard. You can hear the drops hit the car in a cascade of sharpe rocks showering from the sky wreaking havoc.

And when you get under a bridge for a few seconds it goes silent. Absolute and blissful silence.

Then you come out of under the bridge and the assaulting rocks begin the torment anew.

For the few seconds that we stay under the bridge is what I craved and for a moment I did have it. Elongated more than just one fleeting moment.

"I knew something was pulling me here." He sat on his knees infront of me. I was a mess of tears.

As he took my hands in his I moved forward dumping myself in his arms crying uncontrollably.

"I needed you so much. I needed you everyday. I thought I lost everything forever. Eric it never ends." I must have cried for about five minutes before he spoke softly running his hand over my head and down my back in a soothing motion.

"Hey Blondie what are you doing here? I thought you might be in China by now with the look you had when you left." He stood up pulling me with him as I laughed between hiccups. "And who is this?" I looked over at Mason staring at us with a bit of aggression and confusion in his eyes.

"Oh I'm so sorry for become a dying seal like that. Eric this is Mason Hanigan and Mason this is Eric Laurent." Some kind of realization dawned on his face.

"Ohh so he is your brother." He spoke.

"Ummm actually-"

"Yeah something like that." Eric finished for me as a bewildered look passed on Mason's face.

"Mason is in my class and well I am living here in this cabin courtesy of his grandfather. All of them have not just provided me shelter they've given me a home here. Happy and peaceful, Eric."

They both shook hands and got acquainted. "Ummm Freya your stuff." I got out of Eric's hold.

"Oh I am sorry let me take that lets go inside." I took one of the bag and the other he motioned for me to open the door first so he could put it inside himself.

We all entered the living room and Mason kept my bags to the side as I turned on the lights. "Okay I'm going to go now and don't go for your shift today I'll handle it but you guys can come in for dinner we can get acquainted when I don't look and smell like shit." I walked over to him by the door and honestly I didn't want him to go, I wanted him to know Eric but we'd get to that later because I needed to talk to Eric about soo much.. He got out as I motioned Eric that I'll be back in a minute.

I got out with him slightly jarring the door behind me. "Mason this trip was very special to me. Thankyou for everything and for understanding." I got on my toes and placed my hands on his cheek kissing on the other one. He immediately turned red running a hand through his hair awkwardly stepping backwards.

"Oh no problem you enjoy with your brother and if you guys need dinner you can come in. Grandpa also called to know how you were." He turned and walked off as I stood watching. Everything just seemed to be so different now. He turned once and for a moment caught my gaze while walking off.

His eyes spoke of some content in that moment before he turned away and finally left. Once he was gone I returned inside the cabin.

"Ver you have no idea how much I have missed you." He spoke standing near the couch as I ran and hugged him again. He cried and I cried and we ended in a puddle of our own tears.

"So where were you coming from?" Eric asked.

"I went on a two day trek with friends here. How are you and how is Care and everybody at home? And how exactly are you here Eric? I made sure this place was hidden and I was hidden and today just watching you sitting there was the best and most horrifying thing I have experienced here but you just randomly finding me here means this place is discoverable." He smiled taking my hand in his.
