"I'm not tearing down my walls for anyone again. You want to know what's inside, climb."

Freya's POV:-

There was just so much on my mind that night or maybe day seeing as the sun was peeking from the sky-that I was in a constant battle with my mind until I hit the bed. I don't know why I was scared but it was irrational and that I knew. Aaron had no idea where I was and if anything I would have changed course of his search by calling from so far away from here.

Besides what would Mason even find out, Jason was covering everything up for me so perfectly that I had no doubt about it.

I still had to deal with the fact that I was pregnant. I had been putting it off like it would cause plague. I ate the leftover pizza in the beat up fridge and drank a glass of warm milk in that state of mind and then went to sleep in Aaron's shirt and panda socks after taking a freezing shower that was suddenly growing in on me. I know it was weird. This time the beat up water heater did work but not how I was used to. Scorching hot.

Maybe change was the right step.

I think I was just so damn tired that I fell asleep else I knew it would have been a war between my body asking for relief and my mind asking more questions.

My eyes opened to someone banging on the front door. As my eyes opened I saw the time on the clock I had slept all day. It was 5pm.

I pulled the covers off me and walked to the door really not liking being woken up. I was tired even still. As I opened the door Luke was mid bang hand raised, probably would have smacked me had I not caught it in time.

"And hello to you too. You know you should say hi and stuff to people before you go hitting them in the face Luke." I yawned.

"Shit sorry did I get you." He threw his head back and laughed while I opened the door.

"If you had gotten me I would've punched you. I'm not a morning person and you're currently intruding in on my sleep." I walked back to the bedroom with him on my tail and wrapped my red pashmina around myself.

"(A) It's already evening, it's 5pm. (B) You look like something naughty happened last night. You and Mason have been missing since Friday night. What did you guys actually do that took so long." He smirked at me leaning on the door frame.

"What, we did nothing! Why would you assume that?" My shock got the best of me.

"Well for starters you're wearing a shirt that I know I've seen on Mason and are you even wearing anything underneath." He titled his head as if to check and I quickly pulled the shirt down, down below my knees stretching it.

"Luke stop that!! This is not Mason's shirt!!! It's....mine" I shouted.

"Okay I won't look. But seriously someone at the Inn saw you run outside and Mason went behind you. Do you even realize how fast news travels here. It's seconds. Where were you two? Nobody saw you yesterday. The whole group came here yesterday to talk to you guys when friday night people started whispering and we couldn't find you. Mason wasn't even answering his phone and he'd told Jack and his mother that he was out helping a you with something."  He explained as my face filled with as much shock as it possibly could.

"Everybody is at the Inn and Mason was sleeping while everybody went to wake him up, I came to you."

"Ohmygod!! What the hell is wrong with people!" I sat on the king size bed in the small room. The one thing amazing about the cabin was this bedroom, it seemed like it had stepped right out of a fairytale.

"Don't freak out we all will work this out. I came here to get you. We all were heading down to get Icecream." I was too occupied with the horror of what people were talking about me and Mason. Imagining helplessly of what would happen now. Drowning in regret of running out of the Inn that night.
