Freya's POV:-
One of the worst things about winters is when it finally decides to leave. All the snow melts and creates a whirlwind of things that always seem wet.
The cabin felt as if some kid is enjoying dousing it in water. I spent the next three weeks fairly busy with university and work. It was the easy kind of silence everything was in.
The part of me that always seemed to be asking me to go back home just once, just to see everyone was also oddly quiet. I was always restless before more so than I am now.
The morning sickness faded away like a flu as well since Mason would make me eat as if it was my last day on earth. We have developed somewhat of an understanding to work through things with each other. He was still a pain in my ass but I guess I have to give him points for trying not to be one.
We were nearing the end of our semester and I was now starting to look a little bloated which I didn't quiet like because I couldn't wear any of my fitted clothes without risking the news that any of Claire's friends or her group would spread.
"So Fre did you find out the gender yet?" Annie chimmed in from beside me.
"Maryanne we are smack in the middle of the cafeteria with ears all around. Do you mind." Mason took her full name to which she narrowed her eyes.
"Mason Hanigan slash Flying bird I know thats why I whispered. Do you not have any class to be at like literally anytime. I see Fre there walks a huge shadow along known as Mason." Man was she in a mood. Even Mason looked at her dumbfound.
"Dude what did she eat for breakfast?" Noah asked Dawson.
"Shawns brain." Daw and Noah laughed like animals.
Ell walked over to our table she also looked as if she was in a mood.
"Whats up Ella? You okay?" I asked her.
"My sister is what's up. She sold mom's jewelry to get herself a new car. Even the bracelet that mom got from grandma and wanted me to have it. I wanted to wear it one day as something old and blue because it had a blue opal.........and now its gone. My only family heirloom." All of us quiet down as soon as we heard Ella's worried voice. She was always cheery or loud but never like this.
"Why did she sell it she works so she can afford the car." Luke spoke moving next to her immediately.
"We had a fight over the bracelet a few months ago I told her it was mine. She told me we'll see who get it." Ell turned away from the table to wipe her eyes quickly but Luke turned her around and made her look at him. He stared in her eyes for a few moments and I could see the anger rising as soon as her tears started coming.
He started getting up but Ell tried to stop him and when she couldn't I pushed Mason who sprung to action. He whispered something in Luke's ear which calmed him substantially and he sat down pulling Ell in his arms.
We all cheered her up in sometime till class started and Luke kept a firm arm around her and I could tell she found some soothing in the touch.
Soon enough everybody started getting ready for class and walking out the cafeteria. Mason and I were the last ones out.
"Mason why don't you go to class I'll meet you there." He stopped giving me a suspicious look.
"Where are you going? Class is about to start."
"No worries I'll catch up wouldn't take more than five minutes." Now he seemed really suspicious. He stepped closer to me.
"I'll go with you then. We'll go to the class together." Oh God!
