Awoken by the loud thunder outside Narrator shoots up from under his blankets. His heart going a million miles an hour as the noise continue for what seems like hours even though it's only ten ish minutes. Hugging his pillow for dear life as tears streamed down his face.
Stop being such a pussy!
Trying to ease his mind by looking at his phone but it doesn't help. Checking the weather it's supposed to be raining all night and all day tomorrow. Eddie was sleeping in the room just next door , Narrator debates whether or not to as if he could sleep with him. Standing up his knees feel like jelly as he attempts to walk towards Eddie's room.
Just calm down. Breathe.
Slowly pushing open his door it's completely pitch black thanks for Eddie's black out curtains. All he could see was the slight outline of his friend asleep. He snores softly and Narrator smiles a little before lightening hits and almost shows through those curtains. The thunder wasn't too far afterwards while Eddie turns over and groans. "E-Eddie?" He asks softly. Nothing was heard other than a light groan from the man. "Eddie?" He said a little bit louder.
"Narrator? Why are you awake? What time is it?" He asked groggily. Reaching over to grab his phone he sees that it's now three in the morning. He walks to the bedside of the half awake man and looks at him. "Can I sleep in your bed please?" "Hun you can sleep by yourself. Go back to bed." Just as he says that a loud burst of thunder erupts scaring Narrator and causing him to flinch. Eddie had just enough light to see his friend flinch and felt bad. "Alright bud climb in but close the door please." He said quietly as he lays his head back down. Narrator did just that and climbs into bed cuddling up next to Eddie. A pair of arms wrap around him and he melts finally feeling safe enough to sleep. They clung to each other as they slept never letting go.
