Eating (ExJ)

Looking at the plate of spaghetti in front of him Eddie starts to hear the voices like usual.

You don't need that!

Why do you keep eating ??

Just stop!

This is what every time he tried to eat anything. Due to that he hasn't actually eaten in a week. It's like he's lost almost all his color , his eyes are dull and sad. Anytime Geage , his boyfriend , would ask if he's eaten he'd come up with some random food. "Yeah I had some Mac and cheese earlier." Which was easy tell he was lying. Eddie has a habit of avoiding eye contact when he wasn't telling the truth.

Sitting in the fancy restaurant with all the people , it felt like they were watching him. As his shaky hands collected the sauce covered noodles and lifted it to his mouth he tried his hardest to eat them especially with Geage in front of him. He zoned out as the voices louder.

You fatass! What are you even doing here?!? Geage doesn't love you!

"Hey Ed , are you ok? You look really pale." The younger man asked placing his hand on Eddies. Snapping out of the trance of his own mind he looked at his lover giving him a weak smile. "Yeah sorry hun , just a little tired." That wasn't really a lie though , along with not eating he hadn't been sleeping either. When he is alone that's when his thoughts get worse. "I've gotta use the restroom . I'll be right back baby." He said getting up and kissing Geage before walking to the restroom. As soon as he was out of sight of his boyfriend he ran right into a stall and proceeded to stick two fingers down his throat. All his thoughts blurred , he could hear nor see anything.

Once he had emptied the entire contents of his stomach , which really wasn't much due to his lack of self nourishment, he leaned against the stall door crying his heart out. You failed. You let them win. Eddie promised himself he would throw up anymore but he broke that promise.

His teeth had been completely fucked from constantly forcing everything out of his body. Thinking he was too big for anyone and all these voices only made it worse. Now that he had finished they only got louder. He couldn't see straight , everything was blurred and his ears were ringing. Trying his hardest to stand up but lost his balance causing my to slip and hit his head on the toilet paper dispenser.

Someone who had seen Eddie run got a bit worried when he hadn't come back , Geage had too. Alex , a kind bystander, walked in and could see him collapsed on the floor. His heart was racing as he beat down the door to help the semi conscious man.

"Hey buddy look at me, keep your eyes open." Trying to keep him awake by gently yet firmly smacking his face and holding his head up as he called for an ambulance. "Ok sir what's your name?" He asked and Eddie struggled to answer while drifting in and out of consciousness. "E-Edd-ie" that was the last thing he heard before passing out.

The next thing he remembers was waking up in the hospital with an IV in his arms , lots of machines and Geage crying next to him. When the crying man looked up he lunged at Eddie hugging him tight. "You said you stopped! You promised. Why Eddie??" He cried into his chest. "I-I'm sorry I just couldn't take it anymore. Please don't be mad at me." Tears fell down his cheeks as Geage hugged him tighter.

"I'm not mad at you love, it's just scary. Knowing that this could actually kill you. What would I do if you're gone? Who would keep me from trying to catch all the cats in the neighborhood? I need you Eddie I really do." A soft kiss was placed on his lips as he sighed. "I love you Geage and you know that. I try so hard but there's sometimes I just can't take it. I'll try harder though I promise I will." "I'm not going to let you go through all of this alone. What kind of boyfriend would I be if I just let you deal with this." Holding each other close they both make their promises to stay together through all of this mess.
