Us Time (KxG)

Kai's POV

Laying with my love bug, who's curled up on my chest,  the baby bump is getting more and more noticeable by the week. Soft snores are all that can be heard now. Not daring to move in fear of waking up this fry. Gently placing a hand on their stomach, it's really calming. Quiet music playing and of course it had to be Dandelions by Ruth B. Feeling them lay their head on my chest while wrapping their arms around my neck. "You're warm bub." They say quietly while snuggling their head into my neck. "Sweet baby." Slowly waking up they kiss my cheek and sigh. "Can we watch a movie bubs?" There's no way I could tell them no so I nod and hand them the remote. Their beautiful blue eyes light up as they see Nightmare Before Christmas is back on Netflix(I fucking wish) pointing to the screen asking if we can. "You're adorable hun. I'll go get snacks while you set up the movie."

Going downstairs to the kitchen I look for the perfect snacks. Grabbing the bag of all blue jolly ranchers, a couple bottles of water and coke, then to top it all off a bowl of popcorn. Smiling to myself as I hear Gray getting excited. Walking back up the stairs and they're sitting on the bed surrounded by what looks like every blanket we have in the house. Setting down the snacks then kissing them carefully. "Hurry up! I want cuddles." They giggled and pulled me onto the bed. "Someone's a bit impatient" hearing them giggle makes my heart so happy. Rubbing their belly softly as they lay their head on my chest. "I can't wait for this baby. We'll be great parents." Smiles stuck on both our faces not wanting to let go. Gray started the movie and got under all the blankets while I put the snacks in between us. "Thank you bubs!"

Of course I had to let them sit in my lap. Resting my hand on their stomach and kissing their head. In the middle of the movie I felt a soft kick and my eyes lit up. "You felt that didn't you bub?" Gray asked with a soft smile. I nod unable to form a sentence. "He's been kicking for a bit hun. Using my damn bladder as a punching bag." My heart is full to max capacity now. "He?" "Well the way they're positioned makes me think he's a boy." I've been hoping it would be a boy ever since we found out so this is great. "Aww he's gonna be a sweet boy." Gray holds my hand carefully as their eyes get heavy. Softly purring as they curl up in my lap, at least as much as this little shit will let them. "Don't call him a little shit Kaiii. He's a good boy." Kissing their stomach I chuckle. "Yeah he is a good boy. Still a little shit but a good boy." Rolling their eyes and kissing my cheek before falling asleep again. My hand still on their stomach feeling him kick every now and then. Soon I felt sleep wash over and I fell asleep too.
