Hunter was possibly the last one to be there, so he tried to make himself unnoticeable when he saw 5 other campers waiting with who seems to be one of the camp counselors he heard about, though a brown haired boy has been hurling out breakfast since he's been in Hunters sight. Unfortunately, 5–barfy not included—of them noticed him walking down the dock to them. He two finger waves at them before eventually joining the other kids.
He stood behind 4 other campers, he does feel bad for that kid hurling his guts, but ignored it the best he could while waiting.
What he did like was the camp counselors outfit: the original Jurassic Park themed outfit. The dude was rocking the yellow bandanna very well too.
"Welcome to Isla Nublar, campers," he enthusiastically said, "you are the chosen few, the first kids in the entire world to ever experience the awesomeness—that is Camp Cretaceous." The way the man talked was so familiar to Hunter, the dude possibly lives coastal.
"I know, that the trip from the mainland was rough on some—hello Ben," he looked over at who Hunter presumed is Ben, the poor kid has been sick for a while now.
And then the man abruptly spoke up which actually made Hunter flinch. "But you made it!" he said, "I'm Dave, head counselor, you heard that correctly, head honcho, big shot—" he was cut off from anymore self praise when a truck rushed over and abruptly stopped.
A woman stepped out wearing the same outfit as Dave, expect the bandanna. "So sorry I'm late, welcome campers!" she said while walking over, "I'm Roxie, head counselor of Camp Cretaceous." she said while causally taking a spot next to Dave.
All five of the Campers, Hunter didn't even notice Ben was standing with the group, stared at Dave in confusion. Hunter let out a brief laugh after seeing Dave's face.
"Well, it's more of a co-head...counselor sort of situation." he tried smiling at the end to make it more believable, obviously didn't work, but it hit the nail deeper in the coffin when Roxie spoke back up in amusement.
"Is it?"
Dave clears his throat and continued on with what Hunter noticed to be his notes on the clipboard.
The girl in front of Hunter with pink hair, and pretty much everything pink, was panning her phone when Dave continued. Hunter smirked mischievously, waiting for her to pan the phone over to him where he placed both his hands against his skull and extending both his middle fingers and thumbs out as well as his tongue. The girl gave him a weird look before continuing to pan over to the other kids, apparently the counselors didn't notice Hunters gesture.
Roxie continued off of where Dave stopped, only adding more excitement to the campers. "As our first campers, we've lined up exclusive behind the scenes tours of the resort," the campers made sounds of excitement, except Ben. Hunter could tell he wasn't the "outdoors" type.
Roxie was listing off a handful of activities and was about to talk about the very thing that everyone comes to the park for, but, "Dinosaurs!?" The kid practically squealed, it made Hunter worry for the kid; the kid might pass out from anticipation before he even sees a dinosaur.
The youngest kid was embarrassed that he blurted that out. Hunter nudged his shoulder with his elbow to get his attention. "No shame in getting excited over something you're passionate about. We're here to see dinosaurs, baby!" Hunter grinned at his younger peer, the kid seemed to appreciate not being the only one excited.
"Loving the energy, Shark-boy!" Dave said to Hunter, who gave him a brief confused look before remembering his shark hood as well as the various art of sharks and shark teeth on his person.
